paolomariano:Thank you Elephant! I'll take it into consideration. Do you think I could place it next to the little table near the sofà? I mean... I would replace the cactus...
Why not get an BL11 instead of the BL19? It fits much nicer to the rest of your room and would less dominate?
Duels:What about the black? It would match the BV10 nicely and keep within your existing colour scheme.
paolomariano:Why not?! But is the black version really black or is it more dark grey?
Moved to a new appartment and changed the approach - No TV (used my Beovision 6-26 MK4 very rarely) and all electronic devices are hidden away. I know that my taste of interior design is not common. For example - in my leisure time i’m wearing shoes without socks (as you can see in the Beoplay A2 advertisement). The BL5 in Option 1 are connected via SPDIF from the Cambridge DACMagic Plus. Itunes on the MacMini can be controlled from an idevice. The hidden BeoCenter 2 is only needed to distribute Masterlink to the Beolab 3500 in the bedroom. For Kitchen and bathroom the Beoplay A2.
paolomariano:I love it!! Gratis job!! :)

we tend to forget there is more to design than designing.

The important thing is, that we find 'our own style' - and you have found yours.
Be glad, that you don't just copy, what is 'common', and that you do things the way, that fits your needs.
I like it - and I actually think, that you are living in a very modern way.
P.S. Your walls are rather 'naked'. On purpose? Or did you just not find the right stuff for them yet?

There is a tv - and there is a BV

I agree. Your style is really cool and not flashy. I like it.

After some time I finally bought the Beolit 15. I like it also I find it has just a bit too much bass... I wanted the Beoplay A9 but it's too big for my place :-(
Mark:Paolo great looking light over the kitchen table, good taste all around your home.... we tend to forget there is more to design than designing.
I don't use that much Spotify but I reduced the bass in the iPhone's equalizer.and it's much better like this.

I don't think I'll hear any difference on a Beolit 15
benoit:I don't think I'll hear any difference on a Beolit 15
paolomariano: benoit: I don't think I'll hear any difference on a Beolit 15 No, you won't unless you connect your phone using the wire. You would hear the difference if it was a beolit 12 (AirPlay). Bluetooth makes all that quality useless...

The Beoplay A9 is still in my mind... if I find a good place for it I may go for it and maybe for Tidal...

Beosound Stage, Beovision 8-40, Beolit 20, Beosound Explore.
Chris Townsend:For a small speaker id agree, but as for Bluetooth and its new apTx version I definitely wouldn't. Beovision 7-55 Mk2, Beovision 8-32, Avant RF 28, Beolab 8000, Beolit 12, Beoplay A2, Beocom 2, Beotime, H6, Form 2.
paolomariano: You are probably right Chris, but I have never tried the aptx (I have an IPhone) so I have no idea how it sounds... The press talks about near-cd quality. There must be some kind of compression anyway in it. How does it work?

The Apt:X guys are very cleaver - their marketing department is doing a perfect job.
That is the reason, why 'the press talks about near-cd quality'!
Apt:X is bluetooth streaming with a lossy codecs!
Streaming to the BeoLit 15 from Tidal/WiMP Premium wouldn't make things much better, I am sure.
So streaming from Spotify would be ok.

Do you buy it or does the dealer gift it ?
Yes this:

Some old (BeoGram 1203 owned by the family since the 70s) and some new (V1-40 bought new by me 3 years ago). All shoe-horned into a tiny central London flat!

Although it might not look it from the photos, actually yes the viewing angle is great and I like how it takes up minimal space in the room. I had thought of getting a box or something to sit it on but now I don't really see the point. It's used 95% for audio although I am enjoying 'Better Call Saul' at the moment! Anybody else into this?
I must say that I enjoy Better Call Saul much more than Breaking Bad. I just really like the show :D
And a very nice setup you have ;)
Beovision Harmony 77" 2nd Gen, Beolab 5, Beolab 17, Beosound 1, Beoplay M3, Beoplay Portal, Beoplay Earset, Beoliving Intelligence
"You think we can slap some oak on this thing?"
Thanks Emil! It was a big outlay for me even though I got the speakers used but it's been totally worth it - three years on and I still love using the system every day. I have no interest in upgrading anything (except maybe the screen for a 11-46...)
If BCS offers 60% of the joy of BB then I will be a happy man!

8000s at the front - you can see the RH one in the alcove - the left hand one is obscured from view. I am not going to win any prizes as a photographer.
Yes I have a selection of speaker groups (Stereo, Stereo + Sub, 5.1 etc) mapped to the Beo4. 99% of the time I use just the stereo fronts for music and 5.1 for films.
