Agree Michael. I would also have liked the new colours for the BS8/A8 which has moved from office to kitchen to living room to bedroom. Probably not much money in it but it does keep the Beovirus ticking over!

Duplicated.
we tend to forget there is more to design than designing.
Aussie Michael:Exactly that one duels
Mark:My BeoVision 6 26" with HDMi in the wild..... can anyone shed any light why TV's are measured still in imperial measurement rather than metric ? we tend to forget there is more to design than designing.

- Don't forget the huge markets Burma and Liberia. The only countries in the world together with USA refusing the metric system!
- TVs and tyres are still marked in inch, strange.
The wife bought a furniture, I bought head phones.
"The King is dead! Long live the King!"
My first and latest B&O's.
like your style ....
Mark: like your style ....
Thanx!
Duels:Very nice indeed Daniel. How do you find the sound?
Thank you! I think they're great. Excellent sound, easy to wear and no drop outs. I'm now discovering all my old music again.
Strange how noise cancelling works! I stand in the kitchen with the dishwasher running. Even if there is no music playing the sound from the machine disappear! When I turn off noise cancelling the sound from the machine is back again.
beorumples:New setup with MKII Beosound Essence
BeoNut since '75
A subwoofer under a table.....huh
Now i know it for sure .....
Hello guys and girls,
So, let me quickly introduce myself. My name is Roy and I'm from the Netherlands. Been surfing this forum for quit some time now! Love it! ;)
I was first introduced to B&O when my stepfather owned a couple of Beolab 6000's and an ouverture. Back then I thought the sound wasn't so great after all. I missed bass. However about a year back was loyal to Bose but decided that it was time to sell my Bose stuff and move to a more beautiful design brand and I eventually decided to give B&O a try.
Bought an A8 first, which was amazing. But I wanted more power so sold it and bought an A9 MKII.

I also own a H8, the sound is amazing, but the bluetooth connection, sadly is terrible.
Looking forward reading more of your stories in the near future ;)!
Kind regards,
Roy
p.s. I hope the picture is embedded nicely ;)

Wow! That is one HUGE cat!!!
Jeff
I'm afraid I'm recovering from the BeoVirus.
Yep! The rosegold A9. Loved it the minute I saw it. My cat is kinda gigantic yeah! Thankfully he is evenly as cute as he is big!
Thought the composition was quit nice though, haha.
Thanks for welcoming me ;)!

My first post...
In July we updated our old MX8000 to a V1 and added some Beolab 18's. The rose golden colour is really quite amazing.
Those do look lovely, Michael.
I have to admit that the Rose Golden products do look lovely in person. Can you share a picture from a wider angle. I love seeing B&O in actual home environments rather than the staged press photos.
Very nice! For some reason, even though they are just boxes and not as radical as the BS9000 or Beosystem 9k series, the B&O pizza boxes always are extremely sexy, far more so than anyone elses traditional electronic boxes. especially the all black or all white systems. Gorgeous.I first truly fell in love with B&O in the 80's when they were the bee's knees of B&O but had just bought my first house and they were out of reach price wise. Always wished I'd gone in hock enough to buy them though, would have saved me a lot of system churning over the years until I got my BS9000.
Love the robots too! Next to my TV I have a model of ED209 from the original Robocop movie. Please step away from the remote control, you have twenty seconds to comply!
MrRoast:It's only taken me 22 years but I've finally got the Beosystem 7000 - and in black like I always wanted! Set it up in its new home today, connected up my Beovox 3800s and christened it with the first cd I've bought in years! It sounds amazing - so happy Thanks to @Dillen and @Weebyx for the beocord help I need to sort my Beolink 7000 two way caps next then I guess I'll be on the hunt for a black Beogram to complete the set!

Add me to the list of a B&O aficionado and a Lago AFOL collector.
@Jeff - I agree the pizza box is a slightly more derivative design but it just ticks my boxes when done the Danish way! Having said that the system that lit my by B&O fire was the Beosystem 2500 - I remember seeing a print add with the cobalt blue covers and was smitten!
@Sal & @alenvprekrsku - well I loved Lego as a child (and visited Billund a couple of times) and bought them for my little boy, who's 6. However, I turned out to be a bit more 'Lord Business' than I expected

Same here! Funny story: in 2009 I was accepted for an internship at B&O, as part of my industrial design Bachelors. But the company went through some sudden changes and a few weeks before the start the internship got cancelled. After a few calls they helped me to get another internship at... LEGO, in Billund. So I have been collecting both B&O and LEGO from the 70s, 80s and early 90s ever since!
