Is that girl part of your new setup - something that you want to flash?
MM
She's the girl in the original ad except like the BL12 she has fallen on hard times
No way - that was a blond young lady with a huge red cloak, and not that hippiish girlie, that Peter Pan photoshopped.
I guess he found her on one of his trips to the Treasure Island ;-))
But - as you say it - fallen on hard times....as is Peter Pan ;-)))
There is a tv - and there is a BV

Peter, I always love your technical solutions and setups! But there's a "but": Why do you still use a mechanical switch box? It would be far easier to use a big preamp with enough inputs that can manage all connections AND you can use an IR remote (Beo 4 + Lintronic, or Beo 5, Beo 6). I'm using an old but still great Sony TAE-2000ESD for connection management - and as you can rename all sources, you (and more importantly) the wife can read all sources with real names in the display.
Hello TWG Preamp is not relevant until the day I give up a new BeoVision TV.

Peter, I always love your technical solutions and setups!
The Peter Pan setup is a typical nerdy oldschool (not talking vintage here) B&O setup.
Just as Aussie Michael Peter Pan loves holes - he has each and everyone occupied ;-)
Maybe you could ask the question, if less is more - when it comes to usability!
Imo you don't have to 'own' every possible solution - especially if you don't need them for your everyday use.
The Peter Pan setup has grown and grown over the years - seems a bit tumorous to me ;-o

I love those picture puzzles: If you concentrate very hard, you can see a Beoplay H8 in the picture, too.
Hi Everyone,
We have bought a new place and I wanted to share my B&O-kit and that in my Gf working space
I probably will forever be stuck in Lewis-era designs... ;)
Thanks so much Michael, very much appriciated!, we do our best :)
Been a lurker here for quite some time now, and thought now everything is in the new, how we wanted it to be, it is finally time for a visual post.
Miho- really really beautiful, I just love all of these products too... how does the BL11 sound ?
Thanks for the kind words keynesparis6, good to hear that you like the pictures and products too!
My answer on the BL11 is very positive, both on sound and aesthetic-form, really there is nothing else like it :)
Have used the 11 before in combination with the BL4000 and that made a huge difference soundwise, incomparison when I only had the BL4000 as stand-alone in my audio-setup.
When I tend to play different types of music on the louder volumes I discovererd at times that the Lab4000 had a bit of trouble with the lower frequencies, and began to sound a bit muffled... When I got the Lab11 and combined them suddenly there was much much more clearancy/transparancy in sound, when adding the 11, it began to work like a 3-way speaker system, the Lab 4000 only had to concentrate on the mid and high frequencies, when the Lab11 takes responsibility for the low frequencies, great combo :)
Later I got BL3's and they are an whole other story, when having them combined with the Lab11, a soundwise stunning combination of elegance, versatile in placement, and perfomance, still very content I made that discision, very best combo for me still!.
I saw that you currently have the BL18, those are wonderfull speakers!, I kindly advise to go to a dealer and ask to combine them with the BL11, though the 18's have good bass, I still think the "tulip" can bring forth a little more detailing in sound! :)
Time for a test!
Best,
Miho

Additional thumbs-up!
I've just got to say, these pictures are some of the more enjoyable ones to view (not to discount all the others, of course).
... reminds me of the catalogues of the late 90's - especially the office photo. Your space looks well-lived-in, and not so much 'staged', which I will admit, I have always done to a certain extent, whenever I take photos of my own space.
This is really the epitome of the notion that none the products have to be 'on' in order to be enjoyed.
I love those b&w pictures and the David Lewis items!
especially the Beovision/Beocenter 1 photo looks like from a B&O brochure. :-)Jensen and Lewis where the best for B&O... let's hope the company will find an equivalent replacement.

Thanks a lot Chris, good spotted!, Indeed it is a small translucent lamp from Kartel®, nice to hear that you guys do have the same, looking forward to your photo's when your building work is finished! :)
Thank you Earle for the thumbs up!,
Was a pleasure to read what you have wrote about the photo's I posted.
Great compliment aswell noting that non of the products have to be switched on to "work", I fully agree :)
Thanks a lot Simon! :)
Thanks a lot TWG, for the B&O brochure compliment aswell, I'll take that with... :)
Thanks a bunch! Duels,
Very nice to hear that you like the photo's and our new place! :)
