On a first look - that wouldn't look right!
MM
There is a tv - and there is a BV
On a second look - replacind the fret of the tv with a blue one (and removing the cabinet) would change that....
....but that would be a new 'colour scheme', then.
Could you yourself get used to it?
That is my first thought also. But I would like to use the 9s and keep everything one color so wanted to consider it.
Razlaw:The following pictures will make sense when the post I made that went to moderation (hopefully ) shows up.
Yes . Great to see a suspended V1. I'm tempted to get a bracket set in case we get the new Beovision and reassign the V1. Razlaw, you use the Bluetooth receiver?

A couple of things makes me somewhat proud of being Danish!
The BV7,- assembled by hand in the now empty and vacant factory 4 i Struer.
The Penta,- still going strong after more than 20 years!
...And of course the golden brew of Mr. Carlsberg,- Probably The Best....
The video, music, and pretty girls are danish too!
...I forgot to put Legos in the shot

Duels:I take it there wasn't ever a burgundy option available for BL9 covers? That would be the easiest way of using the9s. Personally I would have to try putting the blue BL9s and 4000s in situ, remove the current speakers, and see how I felt. It's the same with visuals as it is with listening........difficult to guess until you actually see it. Cover or remove the current speaker grille so you lose the burgundy completely. I like the idea of the blue. You will presumably get a lot more bass from the BL9s than than at present (unless you have a sub I haven't noticed). Have fun!
BeoGreg:Option 3 all the way for me the blue lover, BV10 blue fret will match BL9 blue (unlike BV11). But you will see the stb bracket and wires on the back of the tv from the stairs. Why not option 4 : sell your 9's to someone else (because you were ok to let them go) and leave your current burgundy set up ?
Razlaw:I really like the way the blue covers look on the 9s. The 9s do sound much better than the 1s. Unfortunately no burgundy covers were made for the 9s, as far as I know. I believe the color was discontinued before 9s were released.

Sorry, just saw this post. I missed it somehow. I think I could get used to the blue. Might be a nice, and fun, change. I will post another picture of the blue in the room without the distraction of the burgundy.

Why not option 4 : sell your 9's to someone else (because you were ok to let them go) and leave your current burgundy set up ? I may consider option 4. But I do have somewhat of an emotional attachment to the 9s last speakers my wife and I purchased together before her cancer and death. Friend I was selling to is very close friend whose wife was my wife's best friend. Maybe I will look for a cabinet that I could use where the current cabinet is that would go well with the blue. Also, I have not realized the cabinet hides outlets and where satellite connection is in wall. So probably need to keep a cabinet there to hide them.

They did make a kind of muted red fret for the BL9, I have a pair plus the black frets. Both came with my BL9s which were floor demos. The red ones, one of them has a small hole on the back, nothing to keep me from using it though, but the red wouldn't look good where I have them, which has a more black/white scheme, with little other color in the room (furniture is muted mushroom or black or rust colored leather). Red would look odd in the room. Not exactly the burgundy color you have though, I think it might clash as much as the blue would with the burgundy B&O you have.
While I like that B&O has made various colors for people who's decorating supports this, one thing which has always kept me from personally embracing them personally is that they tend to limit your decor choices more than plain aluminum. Can be absolutely gorgeous in the right environment though, your stuff is stunning. The blue goes well with the floor and couch color, but IMO clashes with the wall color.
Again, very sorry to hear about your wife. We lost my father to cancer, a horrible disease I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. My deepest condolences.
Jeff
I'm afraid I'm recovering from the BeoVirus.
Duels:Why not put the 9s in place instead of the 1s for a while. Black covers. Live with them and see how you feel about the look and the sound. That may persuade you to keep the 9s. Clearly you have a strong attachment to the BL9s which is very understandable. When I open a bottle of red this afternoon with a friend I will raise a glass to you and your wife.
Are you enjoying the Peugeot Saga?
any reason you're reading this book, Razlaw?

@Razlaw
Maybe I should not say it - I don't know you that much.
But somehow the burgundy red fits better with you (and your home).
The blue is too bright, too blue.
I might be wrong - it's just my instant impression/'gut feeling'.

@razlaw: Your Beosound sits on the right place! :-)Now, go find the best place for the little car. I would mount it to the wall with some small mounting brackets so that you see only the car "floating" on the wall without damaging the car.

hmmm...too many sweets in too small bag ...:(

Thanks!
Right now the car is sitting on a table in front of the sofa. Just not visible in the picture.
jans:Razlaw, very nice! How did you connect your BS3000 to the Essence?
How did you connect your BS3000 to the Essence?
The Essence is located in my basement along with the Beomaster 5. The Essence is connected to the Beosound 3000 with an RJ45 to aux in connection cable. The RJ45 plugs in to a power link connection on the Essence.
jans:Raslaw The Sonos works really well; ...... On the other hand, I do like an 'all B&O setup' so much....

I agree completely!
Razlaw:One more picture....paired with 12-3s for rears.
Object based audio sounds amazing here....with the kitchen & dinning the room is big but for the HT it is small. had to sacrifice our own big house to buy BnO with Atmos :) very happy with all there
Beo in white is my thing

Razlaw! How much stuff do you have?
Good question
Most of it has been shown in the pictures.
In one room I have the BV7-55 with BL7-4, B and O cabinet, BL20s and BL12-3s. Also in that room is a Beotalk 1200 and Beocom 6000 (hope that is the right model)
Another room has the BV10-40, B and O cabinet, BL1s, BL6000s, Beosound 3000, Beosound 5.
On the other side of the stairs behind the BV10 is another Beocom 6000.
In my Bedroom I have the Beoplay V1, and now the Beolab 9s. Also a Beotime, and a corded B and O phone. I forget the model now.
I also have two pairs of Beolab 4000s. The blue pair that was in my bedroom and a pair of red/burgundy 4000s that were connected to my desktop computer but currently are not.
Also, the Essence MKII.
I have an Active Kit and a Beoport (they are so old I am hoping I am remembering the right names) that I am not using at present.
Also, not being used are a Beosound 1, a Beosound 2000/Century, and a Beovision Avant from 2000.
And last but not least, and not being used, a Serene.
and also have my deceased wife's key ring remote. Again I do not remember the correct name.
