Thanx!

Big improvement in picture from my BV11-55.

Sound fells the same as current. UI is fast but crashes sometimes

The BT remote is cool and easier to handle then original BR one

Only issue is that my Tvbox Pace will PUC not work. I have tried another box and another IR cable but still no succes.

ATV and my Tvix works perfect!!

Wonder why???

The TV looks stunning, Anders!

I must admit that the wood panels on the 14 looks so much more amazing in real life compared to pictures - I love this look!

Glad to hear that the picture is better, too - the one we sat up was way too dark compared to the 11-55 sitting next to it (in the store, not at home :) ). The first tv delivered had the very same PUC issues as you describe, hopefully this will be sorted out through an s/w update... Sad to see the Netflix app being removed in the latest s/w update, but the new menu system is almost identical to the Nvidia Shield connected to our Avant 75 - so I guess adding a Shield for Netflix in 4k is a far better option than B&O's recommendation (Apple TV = no 4k) as you will have the same menu structure.

Anders, the TV looks beautiful but have B&O dropped their typical BANG & OLUFSEN font in the menu system? It looks very unusual - not B&O style to me.

Am I wrong or is the panel now matte inside the glass casing, instead of glossy?

Love the simple new packaging for the television, smaller, more svelte. The 11-55 came in diagonally positioned, seemingly much more difficult to tip over. Because the styrofoam had posts on the edges as well to keep it upright. Also the BV14 has a metal bar going down the chassis for rigidity during transport, so perhaps they can get away with that packaging.

Congratulations!

@Aussie Michael: what a fantastic place and what a nice devices you have in your setup.

It must be a musicparty in every room you are enjoying you B&O multiroom devices.

I've also ordered, a few weeks before the official launch, a BS1. Still waiting for delivery.

In the meantime I'm curious about the RJ45 networkplug in the BS1.

Is it only for service enabled or also for cabled playback.

Now I'm just busy with cabling in my house (cat6). I prefer cabled devices and sometimes wireless outside use.

Thanx in advance for your reaction.

Simply amazing Mr.anders...

I also just picked up a used 11-55 For only $1,500 bucks. An insane deal, just ran all the firmware updates as it seems it was never done. Question thou, what's the best way to clean the glass panel?

It does have a coating I assume?

It looks like it was never cleaned and I'm looking for the best solution to clean it with???

FYI: and I just found out it still has warranty till 4/2018 👍🏻

If it is not to much work for you, yes.

I want a reliable connection in my house.

Please let me know what your experiences are, with and without an ethernet connection.

Thanks in advance Michael.

By the way: yesterday I got a phonecall from my dealer. My BS1 has arrived. Will pick it up in the next few days. Big Smile

Breath and a soft microfibre cloth, nothing abrasive and no chemical based liquids which could wear away the anti reflective coating.

Hi.

It's no issue to try it out.

My experience is that both are stable

I turned the wifi off at the router so there was no wireless signal

I plugged the Ethernet in the BS1 and the router and then tapped the wheel. Played with no issue.

So it does wireless and wired no problem

Thank you for the test Michael. I appreciate this very much!

I'm glad to hear that there is no difference between a wireless and wired connection.

Looking forward te get mine and place the BS1 free in the house.

I will sure use the BS1 during the renovation of my house (different rooms). Will pick it up at my dealer this week.

With greets,

BeoHut
