What is that - a smoke detector? haha.

Man, I really wish they would make a copper colour. I had that colour for my old BS1 (which I regret selling), but that same colour in an A1 would be superb!

How did do this? - how do you connect the TuneIn without the 30pin. The only way I can think of is Airport express.

Connect the Chromecast via the aux input on the back. You need a 3,5mm mini jack -> dual rca cable.

Steve from Soundsheavenly will post a link to what you need in a little while Smile

Thanks for your quick reply.  How many Chromecast are you using? If more than 1 do you suffer a delay. I have a Beosound 8 and a Beolit 12 - unfortunately you cannot link them together - maybe with Chromecast you can :)

Thanks.

I have two Chromecasts. There is no delay. They are in perfect sync. If you experience a delay, you can adjust it in the app.

I took my mother in law to our local dealer today, as I wanted our A2s software updating. After a loud shriek I went and had a look at what she was so excited about.

I went to our local B&O store the other day (my main reason to go was to see the new colours to the A1, didn't ease my decision-making at all) and asked what people think about the wheel stand. The storeowner told me that everyone likes to make fun of it but it's hands down the best-seller of the stands available for the Horizon. And not just that, but people are allegedly also coming to ask if it can be fitted to other TVs. He concluded that the uniqueness of a TV on wheels these days is really one of its strongest selling points.

I must admit, even though I also didn't like the wheel stand at all when I first saw it, there's something strangely appealing about it.

.just went to the local dealer launch of the Horizon. No chintzy junk like some B&O but those aluminium slats are distracting. And the back panel is very nicely resolved in appearance.

I want a beosound 5 though..

Grumpy or not.

He could have posted (yet another) pic of his Pentastic speakers - with or without the flowerpots on top - instead.

No need to flash his arrogant dislike of speakers from B&O, that other people like and have pleasure from.

Heck of a record storage system! Big Smile Reminds me of back in the day we had a ultra high end cartridge, a strain gauge made by I think Winn, that sounded much better if you kept it in the fridge, which led to the guys pulling it out right before someone came to audition it. Of course, that limits how many records you can listen to before it starts sounding different or worse if you believed them. I never noticed any real difference, and if there was I doubt it was due to the temperature of the semiconductor but the temp effects on the suspension of the stylus. But it was an early introduction for me to the kind of lunacy the "high end" tends to practice.

But I think an old fridge is a great storage cabinet!

Never used, 100% original white top on a mint BL1000.... Not a dent/scratch anything.
