Hiort:

I don't like those fake rendered pictures. They just mislead people.

I have told him that a thousand times - which does not bother him ;-(

So, don't expect him to stop doing it.

First post! Received my Beosound 2 Brass today to complete the audio setup for my lovely apartment in Amsterdam. Happy to be part of the community and hope to keep upgrading the setup in the coming years.

Beosound 2 brass in the living room. Really like the look and sound signature in Free mode.

Beoplay S8 in the living room connected to a Samsung TV.

The S8's satellites I hung above the open kitchen.

2 S3's in the bedroom paired in stereo and connected to a second smaller television. I'm still so impressed with the sound quality of the S3 when in stereo mode.

Another pair of S3's in the Study. Still need to do some cable management ^

And to finish off the Beoplay A2 for the balcony and to take with us to the park.

That's it! Happy to share any details or experiences with these products.

Living room: BeoPlay S8 connected to my Samsung TV and a chromecast audio, through the connection hub. (Looking to upgrade this to BeoLab 2 and BeoLab 3 or adding two more satelites - this is an early version of S8 and has amps for 5 satellites)

Bedroom: BeoVox S30 and BeoVox Cona connected to my computer, and driven by a small 2x 20w class-T amplifier. BeoPlay H6 gen 2 connected to my computer via headphone DAC/AMP.
The BeoVox Cona performs fantastic after installing new capacitors and adding additional foam/sound insulation.

Restroom: BeoPlay A1

Kitchen: BeoPlay S3 - Usually connected to another chromecast audio, thus creating a multiroom setup. But since my current router is poor, I'm using bluetooth.

Hello all,

challenge was to have BL 3 speakers matching anniversary edition BL5 in rose gold, which looks to me more like brushed bronze.

I have removed the top part of the speaker, 3 parts in 2 materials (aluminum and plastic),  plated it in copper then brushed it with abrasive giving circular brushing touch and then topped it with glossy lacquer to prevent copper from oxidation and highlight the metal structure. Here is the result:

Are you going to give a new Shape to the room (at least to the wall)?

HM..YES ..looks like dealership ...but it's not.

It's service, sellers, and testing room.

Here i test most of the B&O stuff so in my post i tell my test results.

And last test is BL3 vs BL4000 vs BL6000

The winner is BL 4000!

Last week i did test of BL9 ..sorry  ..the soud is not what i hope to hear.

And for many of us...the sound of BL6000  in some points better than BL8000.

,... then i did change bass drivers in BL 8000 wauu....new sound ..better -for me.

These is my game ..my way...and test eqipment  are my ears :) after 25 years of audiophil freakness :)

opssss...not just mine ..and my 2 colegues ...hi-fi geeks.

If i tell you that BC2300/2500 have a looot better soud than BS4 or BS2 or BS9000MK3...you would laugh...but...for me ..that is 100% differnt sound.

More analog..soft..warm.. :)

Have many more interestin test results... but that is for discussion for another time.

Thanks, Hereford. The Beolab's 18 are definitely on the wishlist for the next house! But for now, the beoplay line works just as good (or even better) when you want to stay friends with your neighbors.

Actually not. I think it would be to cluttered. I have a movie setup (in the basement) with Canton surround and a 65" UHD screen but that is purely non B&O.
