Hi Brian,

Maybe at your local dealer, give him an offer - that's what I did!

Don't think there is that many in the market.

Selv tak.

I have acquired a new listening chair ... a collapsing Edwardian charm that makes it easy for me to set up (and take down on command Big Smile) ... and leave it folded away when not in use.

Here it is ... and tonight’s setup for some beta testing.

I am referring to the software ... not the liquidware ...

PS should have added the B&O bottle opener to the side table ... it would have made 4 B&O objects !

Absolutely incredible! The white BM3000-2 is a stunner!

I really like the entire white-Beo theme throughout the house - top notch! This is a tough thing to accomplish considering how hard it is to find the white items! Yes - thumbs up

Thanks Evan,

Been collecting piece by piece 😅.

The white Beolink 1000 remote was especially difficult to come by.

I recently picked up this Beomaster 4500 as a moving-in gift for my in-laws.

They’re using an Airport Express to stream to it but then my mother-in-law pops the question “where do I put the CDs?” Laughing

Cue my latest addition a cheeky 9500

I expect the “how can I play my records?” question next?Stick out tongue

Used BV7-32 for my grandmother.

“It’s a little more design to this tv than my previous one, Leo.”

“Grandma, your previous tv didn’t have any design.”

"You think we can slap some oak on this thing?"

Thanks Martin! It's a lovely sound, I've never had anything valve based before - I really fancy a Stereo Amplifier 608 now!

BAND'OH!:
The BS3 was one of my all time favourite B&O products! Enjoy it and good luck!!

Steph:
where are you going to change the battery? Your dealer?

I must change mine but dealer ask me 150€!!

CB:
The characteristics of the BS3 battery are : Ni-MH battery pack / 8 pcs. 1500mAh with built in NTC and PTC heat protection components.

I think the voltage is 9.6V (2 raws of 4x1.2V) but it's to be confirmed.

So, some good news!

I dismantled the battery pack and it contain standard 1.2v / 1600mAh rechargeable batteries, plus some wires and one or two component (to measure the temperature).

Because it may be tricky to weld on batteries, I asked a specialist (Batteries Conseil near Lorient, Brittany) to do it. It's not very complicated but you've got to have the skills and a good soldering iron!

Total cost for eight 1.2v 2200mAh batteries, plus manpower, plus some material to attach everything together: 56€

I watched only one movie (“Red Sparrow”) on the flight over here; and then I use these for ANC their ANC for the remaining 10 hours to keep me sane ! I had forgotten what a difference they make on aeroplanes (it was a 747-400). One of my best impulse buys ever !!!

The white cable is a US$19 replacement for the B&O cable I’d lost sometime this year.

They are now in the city where I bought them (but B&O store near Union Square has closed); and they/we are about four blocks from the hotel where they were unboxed Big Smile or should I say “were born” ?

I didn’t need to power mine !

The battery kept the alive for at least 9 hours (I did not wear them for breakfast & landing).

I was amazed that they stayed alive for so long.

Maybe because they were not processing music or movies ... just killing the external noise.

@Beoberg

Could you give us a couple of details on the setup.

We see no external fronts - you use the Sound Center for L/C/R, right?

I bet it works perfectly - and must sound really nice.

Looks good anyway.

Thank you guys.

Yes, I do use the Souncenter for L/C/R and it sounds just fantastic. I used to have BV11-55 with two BeoLab 9 as fronts. The difference is minor, really. The sound is obviously not as "wide", but all in all I do not miss the Lab 9's. What you cannot see is the S8 satellites speakers that are used as rears (with extra long custom cables from Steve). The BeoPlay S8 is phenomenal as main sub.

BeoVision Eclipse 55, BeoPlay S8 (sub+rears), BeoPlay A9 MKII (living room), BeoVision Avant 32 DVD (retro gaming, basement), BeoLab 4000 (entertainment room, basement), BeoSound 8 (workshop), 2x BeoPlay S3 (PC), BeoPlay A1, BeoPlay H2/H3 (on the go)

It looks amazing Beoberg!

My dealer shipped mine, along with an LG C7 for the bedroom last thursday with day-to-day shipping. The freakin shipping Company managed to throw away my package, they simply can’t find it. I’ve rarely been this dissapointed!!

But still I’m glad on your behalf, it truly looks amazing. I love the “stub” you put next to it too, is it oak as well?
