seethroughyou:
Moment (2018) blends in well with black and aluminium of Beogram 7000 and CD7000 (1996)

seethroughyou this is really beautiful! <3 I had a similar thought looking today at Beo5 remote sitting next to my Moment.

Thank you!  "Snake", that model was called.  I had never heard of this designer before, nor seen any of his work.  But google shows at least 4 other models.  I'll have to see one in person; apparently they were originally polished aluminum, which has developed a patina over the ¡five! decades since its manufacture...  Again thanks.

Hi mr anders, i have just found this thread and already ordered the new backlight :)))) can you just explain how you changed it? was it complicated? does it change the glow in the buttons too? i am a bit scared of breaking it, even if soldering is not a problem. thanks in advance for your comment!

The system is finally complete: Beocord 1200, Beogram 3000, Beomaster 1001 and Beovox 1001.
All working, but unfortunately, not as good as they look, but that's another thread…

And of course with reprinted User and Service Manuals Big Smile

Good to see you got the whole system complete. Yes - thumbs up How long did it take to get all items, if you don't mind me asking?

That was not that long after all. I got the Beocord like two or three month ago. I started to hunt the complement shortly after and I found the Beomaster with the Beovox two weeks ago. When I collected it, the guy had the beograms too so i bought them along. All put together with the furnitures two days ago and manuals printed yesterday!

Hi Matador

I really like all the little details you have added to the setup

Why not place the Beomaster in a vertical position so its visible?, I am sure the tapes could go elsewhere.

Thank you Beovox141,

I really like and want the Beocord in vertical position.
So, I found that:
- two components in vertical position would be too much,
- and I'm also try to avoid too much holes in the wall!

The 11kg of the Beocord (along with the reels underneath) also acts as counterweight for the 6kg of the Beomaster on the shelf.

That said for the photo, I've forget to raise the little feet under the Beomaster which tilt it forward giving a little more access to controls.

Really beautiful matador, thanks for sharing the pictures of your setup.

Just a question: the record player on the pic looks like 1202, not the 3000?

Yes, very fine observation! I was sold a beogram 3000 (medium condition) and a beogram 1203 (bad condition).
I was looking for the peg platter look, god knows why.
But the BG3000 appears to be more functional at first so I kept it swapped the platters.
In the end, the 3000 had a very loud 50hz hum i dont know how to get rid of.

Since this morning I tried the 1203 which has no hum (but is a very little bit slow) and ends up replacing the 3000.
In the process, each turntable get his respective platter back!

So now it's look like as I like and ALSO as it should!

Our Avant 55 MK1 replaced our old BV8-32 in the bedroom. Connected with an ATV we have all the media entertainment we need ;-)

And with a 55” I do not need my glasses anymore when I go to bed Stick out tongue

Because the tv is so close to the walls I had to disconnect the stand for now.

I noticed that on the black remote (left) there is a button marked "21°C"... What is this button for?

Just because nobody answered @Steffen's question literally:

It turns on the heat (or air conditioning), when the hotel guest first enters or returns to their room, after its HVAC has gone into "standby", triggered either by a time-out or by housekeeping room-entry.  21 degrees Celsius is "comfortable", at least in heating mode.  (In A/C mode, you have to be an American to like 21°C.:-)
