No delay issues?
I bought these for different family members, but mine recently had problems with the battery roll and ofc B&O no longer supports them ๐
I was told by my local B&O dealer that it’s C9 only... hopefully that changes in the future
Could anyone show me the detail wiring of the battery pack? cheers, wpho

And you upgraded BV7 MK3 to MK4/5/6...
Stefan
Correct, I replaced my MK3 with a MK6 - the MK6 can easily be distinguished from the others as it has an extra 12-13 mm of aluminum at the bottom, which I kind of dislike. Well, upgrade... I'm generally not satisfied with it at the moment, as I'm quite disappointed with the picture when comparing it with my MK3. It has a much colder picture (white is almost light blue) and seems grey and boring compared to the MK3.

The MK3 definitely was the best BV7-40.

I've played a bit with the picture settings - both the "customer" settings and the ones in the service menu, but have put everything back to how it was before for now. Maybe it just takes some getting used to, but I intend to keep the MK3 as well, so time will tell if the difference between the two annoys me too much.
I think the BeoVision 7-40s with HDMI are really good value for money on the used market and both of mine have PUC codes for controlling Apple TV, so they have all I really need in a television. And when sitting 2,5 meters away, 40" is enough for me.
So a lovely thread, I put few photo of my systems. I started my life with BeO from eighties ( Beosystem 5000, Beosystem 5500 ) :
through the seventies ( Beovox M70 )
and ( Beovox 5702 ):
and together:
to sixties ( Beolab 5000, Bemaster 5000, Beogram 1800 ):
BeO is like a good wine - the older the better...
Please, what is this record with the black and white face on a red background on the first picture? Thank you.
ga53n:Chris Cornell
Yes, Chris Cornell - Chris Cornell album:
Album with Chris Cornell songs with Soundgarden, Audioslave, solo and acoustic. One of my favorite.
Chris is playing on my pizzabox system (6500/700) often too Martynka! Like his music a lot (maybe apart from the album 'Scream').
This is how my new living room is looking by the way; now with a feminin touch, as opposed to a couple of years ago, where my setup was consisting of a Beomaster 8000 with Beovox MS150.2s. The setup has been replaced with something a bit more modern looking
(Click on the pictures to watch them in higher resolution)
But still with something a bit retro.
The FS isn't completely convinced of my idea to buy a pair of BeoLab 5s at some point yet, but she has accepted the rest of my collection, so I think she's a keeper anyway.

How did you manage to take out the base of the beosound balance? Does it still sounds good?
Dennis. Love your setup, very stylish
matador43:How did you manage to take out the base of the beosound balance? Does it still sounds good?
The hanging light matches the BL3s with its OLT technology!
It's an early prototype, shhhh. It sounds a bit hollow
Thanks everyone, we're also quite pleased with it and think it turned out quite good even though it's only 14 square meters.
Duels:In these challenging times it’s important for the A2 to keep on playing in the kitchen.....

Guys, we're joking here, but it's time to enjoy being confined in cosy houses with pristine sound, cristal clear pictures, beautiful wives and excellent lunches and drinks. And of course, Beoworld…
3 of my zones...nothing fancy, but gets the job done :)
1. BL 8002 + BL 2 --> Sony A1E TV
2. BL 6000 + BL 11 --> LG UST Projector (80 inches from around 6 inches away from the wall!)
3. BP A9 MK2
Not in picture are the portable gear and BS Stage which is around the corner...

Thanks. The size of my space means, while I would have loved to get a BL 5 in my living , it probably won't work. The A9 does a great job in filling the space with sound. It's (as well as the Stage) driven off of an iPad that I keep permanently docked (not in the picture).
It's also amazing how well the speakers have held up fo so long. My beolab 11s also were in Red, but got scratched while moving and I got the simple metal ones. A couple of close ups :)
The BL 6000s are also Red (although slightly different shade than the 8002).
Also, for anyone considering a TV to go with B&O speakers. While LG seems an obvious choice, with the Sony OLED (I have the 65 inch version) the entire screen acts as a center channel so that spoken words seem to come directly from the speaker. Because the effect is so good, I decided to use the Stage as just a standalone speaker rather than as a sound bar.
Nothing fancy, you say, but very nice: inspiring for those of us who cannot afford to always buy the very latest! Clearly you enjoy quality lighting as well, no junk there either. Which begs the questions: Does the Arco over the dining table illuminate enough of it at night? Is its uplighting part reflecting off the (blackened at night) top sunroom windows enough to see what you're eating in the host's chair at the end of the table? And out of frame, is there another chair between the base and the table, or does the Arco get pride of place at the foot of the table? Is the BS Stage just for music, or did you put another screen in the dining area? “Enquiring minds want to know,” as the old tabloid slogan used to say...
The glass of the sunroom has some sort of coating to keep the heat out which also helps in keeping the light in. I replaced the bulb in the Arco with a Philips Hue lamp and the light is pretty good since the glass ends up reflecting it and I can change the color at night etc for a cool effect :)
There are also a couple of other lamps to the side not in the picture. The Stage is on a table and used only for music - so no screen. I should add a picture of the Stage as well. It was true most recent addition and I thought it would be temporary in the dining area but has ended up there now. When I AirPlay to both the A9 and Stage simultaneously they are in perfect sync which is pretty cool. The Stage is an excellent value at this price. It’s excellent even as a music system. The stereo separation and clarity are amazing at this price point.
And, yes there is a chair at the end of table. Actually I end up working on that table during these days. It’s an apartment in a high rise however the sound insulation is excellent and I can play the music pretty loud without disturbing our neighbor. It’s black frets with burgundy for the BeoLab 6000s. They came that way, as did the BeoLab 8002.
