This is how my new living room is looking by the way; now with a feminin touch, as opposed to a couple of years ago, where my setup was consisting of ...

Dennis, what is the furniture brand/name that you have for the Beosystem? it's really matches the size of the system?

It's an original B&O stand for Beosystem 7000, so that's why it matches so well. Big Smile

That setup is so clean.  Do you have the wires running behind / in the wall?

I love how design that was conceived 30 years apart can fit together so seamlessly.

Agreed, I also love how the interior design of beo lovers is so clean and consistent.  There is certainly a theme.  You dont see much rococo interior design in B&O homes.

Yes, that’s why we love B&O I guess. The design often lasts.

(And the cabinets where designed in 1928-1932 and has been in production ever since.)

Yes, wires are in the wall (for the speaker not on the picture) and from the Moment and the speaker in the picture they are going straight through and into the technic room behind the wall - also allowing me to run the Moment on cabled network.

Beautiful original setup, i adore my BC2 and i expect the beoremote  halo won't operate them, which is a shame as it looks a stunning item.

For real about the cabinet?  It's beautiful.  What's the brand?  I realize that I am just going to have to run a cabled network too, so I hope my setup looks as clean as yours.

For real about the cabinets. They are by Mogens Koch and originally produced by Rud Rasmussen cabinetmaker and in the later years by Carl Hansen and son. They where however just fired by the family of Mogens Koch and right now production is being transferred to another cabinetmaker and will be produced again early next year.

It takes and effort to make it clean but it is well worth itSmile

Nice. Used to have an iPod like that and used it with the A8 earphones.

Does the controls on the 3i work for the iPod?

Very nice as you positioned your BS5.

Excellent idea the upgrade to Beolab 3: them will surprise you.

I always felt like something was missing to my Beosystem 1001 even knowing it may be not a perfect match historically speaking…

Not my own setup, but I helped my parents getting a “new” renovated BG5500 from Dillen and set it up with their Beosound 1.

Now they are using their old records again. Only things missing is datalink for control and bass/treble adjustment
