Brian:
Hi, very nice! What's this low board?
Severed_Hand_of_Skywalker:My H7's. Whoot.
trackbeo: Severed_Hand_of_Skywalker:My H7's. Whoot.w00t indeed: The whole white/oak(teak) ensemble is so carefully chosen and laid out! Even the uplighting behind the cabinet --- right now, everybody reading this, go back and really *look* at those photos --- it doesn't come from the ceiling, but from the cabinet, yet there is no glare/shadow *underneath*. This doesn't just happen by accident. But missing from the .signature is what equipment drives the B&Ws. (It's streaming right now (1981, yum), and doesn't look like there is enough width for a turntable inside that grille... perhaps the albums are art gallery, and go from BR to LR, to be spun?
Ha ha thanks. I didn't really think anyone would notice but I'm flattered.
The shelf is actually Solid Oak. Everything fits so perfectly as I designed it from scratch by myself for the space and usage. Mostly it was designed around the subwoofer as the base.
To power the speakers I use the Yamaha amp. I have 3 of them in the loft. The other one I have powers B&W speakers. The multiroom works like a charm and the reliability and interface for the app works much better than B&O solutions sadly.
As for the lights I put a Philips hue light strip along the back edge of the shlef about 1 inch down. As you can see it makes a huge difference and can change to any colour.
Some more picts if you like.

If you mean the walnut cabinet, it was made by a UK based design studio called Live Iconic.

Looks fantastic. Nice colour coordination!
Thank you Brian! I appreciate your positive view on my setup/interior design.
I was lucky to find a BeoSound 1 and BeoCom 2 MKII both in gold and mint condition.
The price of these two purchases were very cheap – $65 and $70 respectively
Photos of my living room
Bedroom. I'm particularly proud of the cable management in this room. All the cables are hidden behind the living room shelving .
Yes, that's nice! But a TV in the bedroom?
Jacques
Thank you chartz! Well I'm a huge movie fan, and now my girlfriend picked up this habit .
Often we start watching the movie in the living room, and if we get tired we'll watch the last part in the bedroom. What's not to like
Very stylish mmmoller. And a solid collection of Danish design next to the B&O you have!
Thank you for the kind words, Johan!
There's one bonus feature – we live in a new building and my BeoCom 2's works as the door phone to open the entrance door. I'm pretty sure we have the most elegant and stylish door phone in the world. The design language of BeoCom 2 is second to none. At least in my opinion

Hello mmmoller and congrats for the nice setup! Can you please elaborate a bit on how you managed to make your beocom 2 a doorphone....?
Thank you
Hi mmmoller,
that looks utterly clean and exquisite - what a nice setup, you’ve got :-)
Did you ever think of moving the sofa a bit further towards the tv....away from the backwall - and putting a carpet on the floor.
That probably would improve the experience of the (multichannel) sound in movies and the sound in general.
Happy watching and listening whereever you are....in the living room or in the bed ;-))
MM
There is a tv - and there is a BV
Hi Tassos,
Glad you like my setup – thanks alot
Sure thing! The door phone system in my building is manufactured by ASSO ABLOY (don't know the model – but I guess it's the newest industry technology).
When we moved into the apartment the property caretaker asked me what phone number I would like to use for the door phone. I told him my landline number, and then entered the number in the system. That's basically it.
So when someone rings the bell I get a phone call on my BeoCom 2's. I answer the call and press 5 and then the entrance door opens. Call ended.
Hi Millemissen,
Thank you very much. I really appreciate your kind words .
Yes the idea have crossed my mind. I'm no slipper hero and even though I have made 90% of the interior design decisions my girlfriend will not accept that I move the sofa closer to the TV / away from the wall .
However the suggestion of putting a carpet on the floor is great. I will definitely look further into this! Actually we've also considered installing an acoustic slat wood panel in oak on the back wall. Do you have any experience in this regard? I definitely think it will improve the sound in general – especially if we also put a carpet on the floor
Sure thing I prefer a true Bang & Olufsen experience in every room!
No opinion there - just noting that it looks stellar.
Certainly a good job done there :-)

Beosince98:Thank you MM, I am still not sure if I want to keep them with the gloss anodized discs or have them also painted white. Getting the discs refurbished in the gloss finish was quite expensive though, so the thought of painting over it hurts.
In fact it would take away some of the ‘uniqueness’ of the BL3’s, if they were painted white too IMO.
That looks like a very nice place to be, mmmoller!
I'm amazed everytime I see a BV11 with silver frame and blue speaker cover. Simple, timeless design. I'm seriouly considering buying one as the screen of my BV7-40 MK6 suddenly turned black a couple of months ago, but it's still a lot of money for a 5-8 year old television with a limited supply of spare parts... How do you think it compares to your BV7-55?
/Dennis
After collecting all the B&O products over this year, I finally got the chance to make some pictures for this form. Of course I love the sound of it but what I love the most is that Bang & Olufsen managed to let all the product match and connect with each other, over all those years. I've got products from 1986 - 2013 and it all flows with the "modern-standards". I managed to place everything tough out the house so the music follows me when I walk tough it...
I think the anodized discs look the best when they stay how they are. The white is very cool for the body, but its gives a nice quality look when the discs are aluminum.. Duels:Beautiful pictures James. And a fantastic collection of B&O too.

Thanks Duels!
Always looking and thinking about what i “need” and buy next. The hardest part is hiding all the wiring. I think im very compleet atm. But any suggestion are always welkom.. haha ✌️

Is that a HDR you have on the bench behind the BV10?
The master control panel is a wonderful piece. Do you use that much?

Thank you for the compliment Hiort!
Its the DVD2, there is a HDR inside but i never use that to be honest. I use it with scart & hdmi at the same time and the quality is perfect!
The master control panel can only be used for tuning radio and for putting on the beogram, enz. Because is have connected the beomaster with a beolink converter i can't use the volume, bass, balance enz. That go's trough the BV10.
Thank you for that, Dennis.
I've tried several colors of the speaker cover. I definitely think the blue is stunningly beautiful and also more discreet and confortable for the viewing experience (compared the white speaker cover for instance).
That's a very good questions. It's like choosing a favorite among your children – you love them all in their own way.
Depending on the size of your living room I would go for the BV7-55 (assuming you got the space for it). Otherwise the BV11-55 is a masterpiece on the wall and saves space in the most elegant way possible.
The picture and sound experience is truly amazing in both BeoVisions, however the sound in the BV7-55 speaker is superior. I don't think neither of them are outdated – not at all! First of all 4k doesn't make much sense on a 55" screen, and if you add an Apple TV with puc code to enable B&O control you got all the smart tv features in the world – at least the ones that are useful.
To make a conclusion I would go for the BV7-55 if you own a lot of MasterLink products, but if you mostly own NL products I would go for the BV11-55.
PS! Please promise me that you will never buy BV14. This is the worst POS I have ever owned. I actually "downgraded" to the BV11 when I moved. It was such a relief to return to the amazing B&O UI etc. .... It just works as Steve Jobs would have said.
They are three Scandinavian things below…
The shelves are very well spotted but I'm afraid it's only 1 over 3! (And no, the frames don't come from Ikea, because Ikea frames have plastic faces and I like faces to be glass.)
I’d say: one headphone and two pictures.
