I came across this nice cassette player, tried it out and it played, exept for the right VU meter.
Opened it and found al lot of tantalium condensators which i all replaced, lubricated and cleaned the whole mechanism, found out that the right VU meter was stuck, freed that up and tested the machine.
Now the left channel sounds perfect but on the right channel there is a lot of noise, hissing, like a bad contact'ish sound, a cleaned all the contacts again but to no avail.
Can someone put me on the right track to sort this problem?
