Hello there
I just received today the Beosound Moment for testing. I like the concept but I have a big issue. It does not show my wireless network in the settings. I have the ASUS EA-AC87 Access point (5GHz Wireless Access Point). All devices are finding the network including Smartphones, Laptops etc. but the Moment does not. Is there a possibility to fix that issue? Thank you very much for your feedback in advance.Best regards David
The Moment needs a 2.4GHz network
The Essence Mk 2 supports 5 GHz, I wonder why the decision to limit the Moment to 2.4 GHz??
Beosound Moment Detailed Specs on the B&O homepage:
WiSA technology integrated – full 24 bit uncompressed wireless audio streaming up to 8 channels
Wi-Fi — 2,4ghz 802.11 g/b
Bluetooth (A2DP) for streaming music from your mobile
I wasn't doubting you, I just thought it is an odd decision not to include 5 GHz support.
And I just noticed, it doesn't even support 802.11n.

So in order to support WiSA they had to limit the wifi technology to the year 2003 (802.11g)? I guess I will stay with wired speakers!
