Hiort:an important fix
issue which is indeed fixed
This may not be specific for the Beta, but do you experience cases where you do not have artist art for your Deezer content on Moment, but when you look at Deezer.com they have the artist art there?
I think generally that the Albumart and Artist art harvesting has been improved with the Beta. Deezer content get art from Deezer (logically) and your own collection get art from Gracenote.

Some Artist Art provided by Gracenote is NOT showing on Deezer in here, per example Sara K. , Emitt Rhodes.....
No picture of the musician(s) probably, but indeed this is not related to the beta. And indeed harvesting the coverart and metadata are very good now.

Did they add gapless playback support yet?
andy_js:Did they add gapless playback support yet?
I don't think it's ever gonna happen
Harvesting and collecting metadata, covers are very good to follow now, I'm slowly adding my collection now to back to Twonky.
I returned to 7.2.7, to see how album art behaves with B&Os recommended Twonky version.
Its going very smooth now.

Hi,
Are the paired Bluetooth devices now visible again in the Moment?
Yes if you mean in the setup (back cover removed)
That's what I meant. Thanks.
There's no technical reason why they can't add it.
New Beta version will probably be distributed this week.

After spending quite some time using Moment with the beta sw I really think the dev team have nailed it.
All the problems I had earlier are now gone:
I have a few improvements I would wish for coming updates:
But again, thanks B&O dev team for a great job!
New beta version being distributed now: JB v2.0.63
Hiort: After spending quite some time using Moment with the beta sw I really think the dev team have nailed it. All the problems I had earlier are now gone: Dropping connection to NAS Frequent lacking metadata (Artistart and albumart) Moodwheel working badly The "grey fog screen" Not really knowing the Moment status No search for own content Need to use Twonky (not sure its an official "feature" but I´m able to use my NAS Media Server) Various reasons I had to do "pin reset" Missing Link icon for Beosound 2 (and 2?) Slow update when new content are added to NAS Unknown playlists appearing for Tunein Jukebox restarting when using Link screen to connect to a Link source I have a few improvements I would wish for coming updates: Gapless playback Being able to add e.g cover or artist art manually or in some other way avoid the empty "artist tile". (Moment get artist art for NAS content from Gracenote and for Deezer content from Deezer) Manage multiroom play as one can do with the Beomusic app. Feels odd grabbing the phone to do that when I sit with the Jukebox in my hand. Being able to join linkroom source by pressing center of the wheel, even if the Moment is integrated with a BV11 and using the connected speakers. I now have to use remote and select join command. But again, thanks B&O dev team for a great job!
Hiort, is there now a full text search for available content on the connected server? If so, how fast is it? (I think the previous implementation was first letter only).
Upgraded.
The ‘long press’ in the center wheel for StandBy function is handy, connected to my TV set it could take a while before the set went to StandBy automatically.
Sal:Hiort, is there now a full text search for available content on the connected server? If so, how fast is it? (I think the previous implementation was first letter only).
The search is very very good now, information appears as you type, increasing match counters in all categories (artist, album, track, etc...) and it runs against local collection and Deezer library. When Items are found in the Local collection they are grouped together in the left part of search result screens and Deezer ones are on the on the right.

Agree. Search is really well done now

Okay, now THIS is what I call progress. It seems I have to now seriously consider the Beosound Moment as an Essence Replacement. Judging by the response of this thread, the Moment has truly matured. When is this SW going out of beta and released into the wild?

Hiort:An example of the search screen. I type "Aaron" and if I select "artist" I see what I have on my NAS and on the right I see the artists on Deezer with the name Aaron. When I press albums I get the below. The Album on my NAS to the left and albums on Deezer to the right. If I press the album icon to the left, Moment starts playing. Very neat.
Noticed that you now see the Deezer account holder name (I scrambled my name) under Loved Tracks in Playlist screen.
Does anyone think that B&O will upgrade BeoMusic with the full text search function since the Moment SW is capable of it. It is independent of what DLNA server one uses.

Good catch Hiort ! I confirm the finding but this is the Deezer nickname
Edit: according to B&O, this is a feature to identify loved tracks of individuals part of a Deezer family plan, nice one!

Dear Hiort, dear Chris
since I am digging into the new 2.0.63 and I agree with you, this new OS is a great leap forward.
I enjoy really knowing the Moment status while it is harvesting my content. Currently I am using the BS-Moment with Twonky. It is fun, watching the artist-tiles being constantly updated. Finally we will have a grown-up device and more important, sales will be much better in future.
Regardless of the Beta-Version, I have a question to all of you.
We all know that support for Twonky is being removed from more and more devices. Synology started years ago, QNAP followed now. Therefore we need a proper DLNA-NAS-setup-manual, if we don't like to have a separate server running and wasting energy.
Dear Hiort, I remember, that you are using your NAS instead of Twonky. I've tried that too - the content is there, harvesting needs more time - but I face difficulties with the powersaving features of the Synology and more important with my playlists. They are missing. Since Chris is the expert here, when it comes to playlist, I could need your advice. I have placed a playlist in every genre-folder ( e.g. Blues.m3u in \Music\Blues) on the music-Volume of my Synology. While this is working perfectly with Twonky, it seems the Harvesting is missing the who,e playlists. Is there a trick or a special place to put the playlists. With "Audio Station" you can create special "smart playlists". They show up on the BS-Moment - but all tracks are not in order and a huge part of the tracks are missing. I am pretty sure, I am doing something wrong.
Any advices?
Cheers Beroli

Well, I do not use playlists so I cannot advise on that. I have a very simple folder structure (no genre folders) on my NAS:
Voume: music/[artist name]/[album name]/
Thats it. I had a dialogue with B&O in the Beta process where I have asked how to best setup structure and content, so that Moment can harvest artwork from Gracenote. Possibly they will provide a guide around that.
Generally I can say that using Moment with my Synology NAS works very well now.
The BS Moment works well with a QNAP NAS too.
The only problem I have is with the Message "Enriching your DNLA Collection", because it stopped at 52% for more than 12 hours.
Does anybody have the same problem with this function?

As a test I rolled back to Twonky 727, the B&O recommended version. It worked as should, harvesting was done as should...
Twonky crashed as I added a m3u playlist and the Moment was trying to harvest it. No matter where I placed the playlist, root or sub directory's.
At the end I returned to version 8.3 and the harvesting was done without any problem + the m3u playlist.
I place all my playlists in the root music directory (.../Music/... ) together, noticed that when I copy the playlist in the actual genre directory, it gets difficult for the Moment to find all content of the list.
Example how I write the m3u file:
