How to activate the Expert mode?
You need the 2.2 version (beta test) and it is an option in the settings of the Moment.
To be a beta tester you have to contact your vendor or request it on this forum hoping from someone from B&O to see your request.

What I notice is that if you have a Deezer HIFI account (as I have), and a lossless file is played from Deezer, you see an indication of "Deezer flac" on the now playing screen.

How did you manage to get the HIFI account on Deezer? Is it available in Sweden?

It took some clicking around to get to the right place at Deezer web. Will see if I can link that page.
I remember I had to cllick around, but unsure how. I anyway have Deezer Elite status (Not namechanged yet)

The above link works for the update, thanks. I’ll go for the one year subscription , enough to decide at no extra cost than using it .... hoepefully the Moment will still be alive in 12 months
And yes the latest JB beta update handles displaying Hifi when detected, hopefully based on the track stream quality and not the subscription .....

It supposed to indicate track quality.
I found some Deezer tracks where "flac" was not shown. Note: Lossless is not distributed to other multiroom sources.

Don´t know, but in the Deezer HIFI thread I think there was talk about coming upgrade for the other devices.
It's remarkable and disappointing.
No (beta) software updates here since and before the latest official release. I'm wondering whether the members among us, who do receive betasoftware, are still in contact are with Lyle.
Are you? What;s the point of releasing betasoftware without providing or asking for any feedback?

Got corrected info. Moment DO provide FLAC lossless also to multiroom devices. You can also play Deezer Elite/HIFI over Chromecast to B&O Chromecast enabled devices.

Does the new betasoftware support Spotify Connect?
Any other audio-device (Core, Essence, A6, M5, etc) supports Spotify Connect, except for the BS Moment.

I have a Deezer elite account - but I can not see the indication Deezer flac. Could you please tell me on which Beta-version is currently running on your system. I am 2.2.0.3722-2.2.12485.193548632 and no new update available.
Or could you write down some tracks (titles) to test the feature.

Well, I can cast from my Deezer app on my iPhone to e.g M5 but its not possible to know for sure that it is lossless.

I would say I do. Could be placebo
I play over BL3;s with a BL11.
Sound is very clear and detailed.

Same indicator on the beta version of the App, FLAC is now displayed on the right of the Deezer logo on the Now playing screen.
Time for B&O to come with a final version soon!

I have send Deezer an request by mail and get an activation link by mail for subscribing Deezer HIFI. So on the Deezer site and account settings there where no information how to get an HIFI subscription.

I managed to move from Premium+ to HiFi a couple of hours ago leveraging the link provided by Hiort, was effective immediateley.
problem with my moment:
the sound heart is disconnected from jukebox very frequently (every day, sometimes two times a day)????

I've just managed to upgrade my DEEZER account also to HI FI using the link that Hiort sent (Thank you Hiort). I'm based in Sydney.
I'm using version 1.2.0.9900 of the B&O App. It doesn't tell me anywhere that the deezer tracks are playing in Lossless, however it sounds good! Listening to tracks that I've saved as favourites previously do seem to sound better. Hoping its not placebo. Presuming only the beta version of the app displays is Lossless is playing?
I'm hoping it isplaying in lossless as my credit card was charged immediately.

Hi All,
I've been back on the Beta program and got the latest Beta software (JB 2.2.0.3782 - SH 2.2.17477.80576301).
I'm very happy to have this new version. I have been very intrested into the Expert mode, because many of the artist tiles from my DLNA collection is wrong or not available. And with this version it seems to be possible to change the artist tiles.
The only thing is that I've tried many ways to get a new artist tile into the system., butt I can't get it to work. Maybe someone of you can help me further...
I use a QNAP TS-221 NASdrive with the Twonkyserver-addon. On the QNAP I made the BEOARTISTS folder into the PHOTO folder. In the BEOARTISTS folder I put a JPG-file (500 x 500 pixels) with the exact name of the artist like into the BeoSound Moment. In the Twonkyserver I checked the Photo-folder as a Shared Folder. When I do a new rebuild/rescan of the NAS with the BeoSound Moment I see the music (with all album covers) appear, but I get a artist-tile but it isn't the artist-tile which I put into the BEOARTISTS folder.
Is there somewhere I can find more information or manual for this? Or can someone help me with this?

I have the system configured like you and I have the rescan interval on 0.
I did the rescan several times and this doesn't change the artist tile, but after a system reset it works. The only thing what I have found is that when you want to change the picture of the artist tile and then a rescan or update collection in the DLNA menu it doesn't change the artist tile. But when I do a reconfiguration through the reset menu then it seems that the Moment change the artist tiles.
Do you have this also?
