How do you guys join the Moment beta program?
Im sick of listening to mp3 quality songs on my beolab 5 when my Beosound 2 is streaming flac.
the public version 2.2 seems like ite never coming out.

There are problems with in particular going back to 0 seconds in songs. Both my Moment and A6 are having this issue.

Since the last update (Fri 15) I've experienced dropped connection from soundboard where I've had to reboot it in order to get control again, anyone else experienced the same?
BTW, I love deezer Hifi!

I've still problems to get the artist tiles in the expertmode to work. It worked once after a system reset, but when I put more new tiles in the BEOARTISTS map and after the rescanning of the system all of the "homemade" artist tiles are disappeared and never came back. Also with a total reset of the system. When it worked it was with the softwareversion before the softwareupdate from last friday.
I send B&O also a message about it, but I was curious if it still works with you're system. And maybe you have any clue...?? 😉

I have tried many things to get my selfmade artist tiles back, but with several collection updates and the reconfigures from the DLNA menu the artist tiles still doesn't reappear. Even with the reconfigure and system reset from the Reset menu.
I have sent B&O already a e-mail about this. I hope they will fix this asap.

This is weird ....
I just tried the following:
To replace a managed artist image by another oneTo replace a Gracenote artist image by a managed oneTo add a missing artist image
It took only one Manual Refresh cycle to get all the above applied.
I don't know what to say as you did what had to be done as discussed previously.

It worked perfect in the previous beta and believe me it looks great, if every tile is filled with the right artis image and there are no permanent scans, because it uses all the tags in your dlna-collection. I like it.

I discovered that Twonky does not always expose the correct date set in the Tags.
With the new Twonky "By Date" UI view introduced in 8.5 version, I found several exceptions. Looking closer at some albums that obviously were not placed in the correct era, I could find that their release year was correct in iTunes, same in Metadatics (OSX Tag editor) but when using another DLNA controller that takes care of date exposed by the DLNA server, album release year is completely different, e.g. 2033 v.s. 1992 in iTunes.
Next, expecting the sorting performed by the Moment to be the same than the DLNA renderer app, assuming the Moment reads and leverage the year tag, I have differences and inconsistencies.
I opened a ticket with Twonky to start with and B&O is already aware about the sorting issue.
PS: Twonky 8.5 running on QNAP or OSX translates the date TAG value to another for the same albums.

I don't know if I'm the only one, But after downgrading, my Moment works again. I've done this sequence twice (upgrading/downgrading etc) with the same result.
Unless confirmed by B&O otherwise, I would wait with upgrading your software.
hmmm, didn't have any troubles with the update. Everything is working as before and i am able to enter the setup menu.
Didnt have and Problems to. Everything works fine.

Mine worked flawless under the previous 2.2 beta in combination with Deezer HiFi, the ultimate musicsystem for me.
Will see what happens next. I'm convinced that it will be sorted out.

I couldn't unterstand, why B&O discontinued the wonderful BS Moment. The device was a disaster the last 2 years, but after Lyle wrote the software complete new, it is one of the best devices for playing music, B&O ever made!
I am very sad, that I will see no new feature anymore.
I hope there's soon a final software version...
It has been confirmed today. My Moment has a hardware faillure.
So, the softwareupdate wasn't the culprit, but an unlucky coincidence.

Can any other confirm whether the current beta works with Twonky Server v8.5 or not? Asking since I've currentl running with the latest beta being pushed out where they just added some additional log facilities and while upgrading the system to this level I'd also upgrade my Twonky Server installation the QNAP which it seems now that the Moment doesn't support.
Another issue that I currently also have with the current beta is that I can't get into the Settings/Configuration meny by removing the socket cover on the Moment Hub. Tried factory reset and setup the system again with both TuneIn and Deezer (HIFI) and the system seems (I can access Deezer and TuneIn) to work, beside the DLNA-issue and Setting/Configuration issue.

Ok, thanks! I've tried to downgrade Twonky Server to version 8.4.1 to see if this would make any difference which it didn't, so back again to version 8.5. So for now I can only wait for B&O to get back to my based on the beta feedback I've provided.

I subscribe to Deezer HIFI and would very much like to have that service enabled on my Beosound Moment.
Did they solve the problem with compilation albums being ignored by the Moodwheel yet? Only Various Artists (album artists) are shown. Not the performing artist. I've been complaining about this bug for almost 2 years, and still no solution. Also, when can we expect gapless playback? Or can we playback WAV files without a loud ticking noise at the end of each track?
Shame on you B&O! I'm really done with the brand after being a loyal customer for more than 30 years. Their products keep getting worse every year!
