Hi Liverpoolpete.
Did you try resetting the jukebox through the pin hole and unplugging the sound heart and your speakers from AC for at least 1 minute? In my case, this solves an issue with powering off my Beolab’s 18 (no red light on the top of them). Hope this help in your situation.
Sully - Beosound Moment - 2 x Beolab 18 - Beolab 19
I just updated my Beosound Moment to v2.2.2, what a release ! I am now listening Flac on Deezer Hifi seamlessly on my BL18+19. Release is also allowing Spotify Premium connection using B&O app.
Everything working perfectly.
v2.1 was a very stable release and I had to wait for a long time to get this last update... but it is definitely the one you need to unleash Moment full potential.
What a perfect day.... ;-)

@Paco
Could you post a picture of how it/the jukebox looks when you send via Sporify from the app to it, please ;-)

I'm unable to get the panel to reconnect to the hub after switching 5 ghz channel.
Had to switch channel as the previous one provided very slow speeds. But, now there is no connection between the two Moment components. The hub has a solid white LED saying it is connected, but once I re-enter the credentials on the panel it wipes them out and I have to start over again. And again. Done a pinhole reset, power on/off, unplugging (all the IBM PC tricks from back in the days...)... but no. Any tips?

BS Moment, BS Core, BG 4002, BC 4500, BS1, BL18, BL19, BL8000 + RCV1, A6, M5, M3, A1, P6 (tks Botty), H5, TR1
Forgot to mention that the Moment works fine when activated by BeoRemote One (Avant) or through the app. But no local control at all.
Thanks for the tips, but through the thread and pm´s. Did a complete reset of the router (Orbi mesh) and the panel reconnected just fine. It is a dual band router. But I was puzzled when all I did yesterday, was changing the 5 ghz channel and the panel dropped out immediately.
And all our Siemens Home Connect (2.4 Ghz) appliances dropped out as well - but they can stay off the grid permanently
Wifi today is such a mess for customers - truly looking forward to the days of 5G GSM and eSim...
On a side note: Only Hiort replayed to the questions regarding John-from-Manchester (the guy from Manchester, England, with a B1 shop and his very own YouTube channel) where he had to replace the Moment in his shop, as it was obsolete, with the Core and was very surprised by the improved sound quality. As I am considering upgrading to BL50, any feedback on this would be very welcome - I love the user interface of the Moment, but sound quality is king...
I had a lot of connection drops with my Beolab’s 18 and my moment using an Orbi router. I suppose this was due to frequencies used for backhaul network between Orbi router and satellite. So I decided to switch to another wifi solution and it works much better now.
@Liverpoolpete
Hmm, it looks like you have frequencies issues with wifi networks (yours or neighbors). Try using a fix channel on your wifi router or try disabling the 5 GHz network.
Changing the location of the moment can also help sometimes.
Did you try to do a reset on each speaker ?
Did you try to upgrade the firmware on the speakers (need Transmitter 1 or to go to your dealer) ?
Perhaps it could help ?

I have a second Moment for the bedroom and love it. I can start music on the Moment and carry the music over to the BeoLab 3500 in the ensuite shower. I have an Essence wall remote in the ensuite bathroom that is configured so that a short press plays the music from the Bedroom Moment and a long press plays the music from the living room Moment. I have a BeoLab 3500 and Essence wall remote in the guest bathroom configured the same way.

I was not aware of this possibility.
How do you configure the Essence remote to do that trick?

It's all in the mapping on the NL/ML Converter. Since I rarely use TuneIn, I chose to map the "Radio" function from ML to trigger a "Music" function on the second Moment.

I was more wondering how you can set the remote to do different things dependent on "long press" or "short press".

When in IR mode, a short press on the play button sends the "RADIO" IR command while a long press on the play button send the "CD" IR command. This has always been the case.
FYI, I also tried some of the undocumented "extra" Essence remote modes to try to use an "A.AUX" command, but got strange results.

No cover pic, it seems?
donderbeestje:The specialist also told me (as I allready expected) that the Moment was intoduced 3 years too soon and is just right now ready for full use and enjoy.
I have been silent for a year in posting on this forum.
But what you are referring to that is total untruth, and a B&O technician should certainly know that before he is telling this statement to you.
The Moment as a music system is unique in the world of sound hardware. It is indeed an invention of B&O, but its remarkable quality has come thanks to the unwavering insight of B&O and close cooporation of many Beoworld members.
Thanks to this never seen cooperation between factory and users, we now have a very good system that you can enjoy after all the efforts.
I do not have any knowing of another sound hardware factory in the world, who keep an intense account of the wishes of the buyer.

Thanxs B&O????
You are paying for a good working product.
Now after 3 years the systems works flawless.
Stop thanking B&O....you paid enough money for it

Well said. After years of being told I need to hard reset the thing every week to prevent it from getting unresponsive and that my network was responsible for all of the connection issues they finally fixed the software. I love the Moment now, but my God what horrendous customer service.
My Beosound Moment has been on the attic room for almost a year, and last week I recovered it. Curious as I was about the novelties and improvements of the latest software.
To be honest, it is bettered... a lot. But I am not going to stand cheering now, the DLNA is still thumbs down.
Been connecting in the past week some several music servers, Servio, Twonky, Minimserver... it is doing the job as supposed with a library of some 5000 music files. As soon as the Moment is trying to collect my complete library of + 30000 music files, the harvest is going on for days and days...
No excuse for the Moment now, every music file is tagged and corrected to appear perfectly on the screen. The network is of perfect quality also.
Why is my Cambridge audio streamer doing it all as supposed?
Beosound Moment, perfect system for smaller libraries of music files, Deezer HiFi and TuneIn. Back to the attic room!
Chris:library of + 30000 music files, the harvest is going on for days and days...
Could be related to a bug I reported several times where the JB does not reflect the real DLNA collection processing status.
A 41k library full scan should take 3 to 4 days max to complete, in Expert mode a manual rescan should take less than a day depending on the number of changes, but the JB will continue to show DLNA collection processing message even when DLNA collection is complete. You'll notice in the notification screen that artists/albums/tracks counts are no longer progressing and never reach the final numbers. To clear the message, I usually stop/start the SH, et voilà, you can even see a DLNA processing completion message with the correct number of items.
Could also be related to not using he Expert mode as any change to the DLNA server status, such as last played tracks playlist, is considered by the Moment to be a change requiring a rescan, thus the continuous scan as you play DLNA music ..... with has a much more visible and painful impact on large libraries like ours.
The combination of the DLNA Expert mode and the new app saved my music experience with the Moment.
When I add new DLNA content that I want to play straight away, I use the app, which was not possible with the previous app. Then from time to time I perform a DLNA library rescan to index and MW integrate the new DLNA content into the Moment library.

Dear mbolo01.
Your explanation of the bug is correct. That is indeed the case. The JB is not showing what is actually happening, and shows a completely different view from what the app is showing. The Moment is made for small music enthousiast and not for the large collectors in music files as we both are..
The Moment is now back to the attic room, I'm not planning in spending more time on it.
I had lots of patience with that Moment and the HQ in Denmark, now I'm really tired of it and not touching that apparatus and its problems for almost a year was feeling very good. I bought another network streamer from another brand, who has been faultless from the first day with my large collection and this player gives me the pleasure in doing what it suppose to been made for... listening to music.
Finally, listening and enjoying our music collection is the main goal, not being constantly busy to get a flawed player in order that actually had to be done by b&o itself.
I am also a persistent perseverant of the Moment and while I do agree with Chris that our job should not be to spend our lives as 'no paid product support' for something so expensive, there is a particular joy in seeing our perseverance and feedback paying off in a better product. It is clear B&O made a big mistake in the early execution of a fantastic concept but it gets better every time there is an update. So I'm ok with it as long as it continues with a team and a leader who are clearly committed to honoring the original design and experience goals of the concept.
As far as the latest SH update this week goes - I believed a network issue was being caused by some interference in my wireless network - I have the moment wirelessly connected to beolab 8000's via receiver 1's along with a beloab 19 and BS90000 with ML/NL converter an all wireless setup - power cables excepted. This update solved the problem of the speakers not switching off or doing so intermittently.
Of course none of it should happen. I have Roon in another Room with another sound system with a properly huge catalogg and it works flawlessly every time.
But it will never beat a 20 year product investment that sounds and looks as well integrated as it is, or rather as well integrated as it's on its way to being.
Well, the latest SoundHeart v2.2.21800 beta makes the entire unit kind of useless as it's now seems that the indexing is hogging the CPU in such a way that what ever is playing is stopping. Also, it seems stopping once a while now for what ever reason that it feels like. While, there have been frustrations, this beta really puts it to the lowest end that I have had on my side.

It is not easy for me to believe that the same B&O people who come on BeoWorld to say all nice things about all the great B&O feedbacks and how the company appreciates and listens to them can hide away from people who bought this deeply flawed product. A company with DNA of quality and customer values would be humiliated. The new B&O must be of the millennial value "it is not my problem so it does not really exist".
I tested video games alpha and beta for years and the definition said that you beta test before you sell and you update software that actually fixes the problem for all without causing a new problem. Or you lie. Or you give up and say you are sorry and make restitution. B&O leaves you with a BS3 or BS5 and Encore or BeoCom5 or BeoPlay or Moment and few dealer to blame. Unsorted flagship speakers? Are you kidding? If you think to buy a TV or anything more than 10kg and the repair isn't in your city you need to really consider. And don't even think about pre-owned unless it is vintage.
If you are too rich to care, you still deserve better.

Moment is clearly a product that was launched way to early, and B&O greatly misjudged the efforts. We all know that and it has been discussed a lot.
Looking forward, Moment has been developed further by a great software development team to a really nice product. Probably the last music system from B&O worth the name.

Whilst I commend your attitude and resilience, can you imagine your own experience had you not been a constant participant in the sorting-out process?
B&O catalog does not promote the opportunity to experience the evolution of the product from poor to "as-advertised" over a 3+ year period. It is not sold as a "handyman special". And let's not forget, Moment is now a FORMER product. I am sure owners of BL50 and 90 are waiting for their paid-for features to and quirks to be addressed.
My Essence 1s no longer work with the B&O app. Must use Airplay for Tune-in and Spotify. My office has Tune-in on an MX4200 and BL3000 using the Beo4 (and a little line converter for Roku). That kit is decades old.
