Hiort:Is it DLNA content you have problems with?
No, it's regardless of source, so playing Deezer, TuneIn and local DLNA when the SoundHeart engage with indexing and harvesting just makes it pause for a few seconds to minute or fully stops playing music. So for now, I've been kicked back to version 2.2.20869.213293545 which improved the usability but still have problem with pauses when indexing and harvesting.

As a new Moment owner (arrived this afternoon YAY), excuse my ignorance if I check whether 2.2.0.3865 - 2.2.20869.213293545 is the latest official version?
Everything seems to be working fine so far so I have no intention to touch it - even disabled the auto update just to stay on the safe side... :) And now I need to upgrade my Deezer from Premium to HiFi.

In my opinion, the Moment is now a stable and worthy product to carry the B & O brand...
Such a shame that they've decided to discontinue it.

Yes, I've reported the behavior to B&O and have email dialogue with the beta team. Today I've also uploaded a video clip to them so that they can see how the system is lagging. Typically it's when it harvesting DLNA and Deezer and typically with Deezer it might update a couple of thousand tracks and that's where it get crippled. Only pattern I found is that if I factory reset the unit it happen much more frequently and over a week the issues occurs less, but still. But, let's see what they make out of it as I over the days have had the extensive logging enabled and submitted logs on a frequently and submitted updates to them.
My Beosound Moment will not update the software. It has shown an update of 2.2 available for several months but won’t update automatically or manually. I just get a triangle with an exclamation point & it stays at 2.1. It otherwise seems to be working fine. Does anyone else have this problem? I’ve been in touch with B&O Denmark & the local store has purchased it from. No one has any answers. Does anyone know what to do? I’ve tried every reset & it won’t factory reset. I’m afraid I will have problems in the future from not operating on the current software. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
If factory reset via Settings menu won't work then try using the factory reset via buttons by removing the Socket cover on the Moment Hub and:
Got another beta to try out and while the Moment improved it still has issues when updating and harvesting Deezer, DLNA, etc.
...and linked to that, I wonder why Moment does not show anything in the innermost ring of the MoodWheel? :/
Normally logged in into Deezer and have my liked music there... ...even Moment was showing it is harvesting Deezer during the setup. That said, I have zero content from DLNA and iTunes - maybe that is the reason.
That should be fixed with later beta; they did change it significantly compared with the out of the box and how it was released.
Quick update from my side; with the latest beta - Jukebox v2.2.1.3889 & SoundHeart v2.2.22636 - all my previous issues has been solved. So that feels really great having the unit back to what it should be once again.
The Moment downloaded and installed the new non-beta SW that was released this week.
Wow! I thought it was just an update to comply with GDPR (mostly related to submitting log files?), but spent all night listening to the Moment performing flawlessly. A big Thank You to the sw team and everyone here involved - at least till the next sw update
Roger
After the update we had last week (2.2.22636) installed. I have still problems to get my own artisttiles displayed. I'm using a Qnap NAS with Twonky (version 8.5). When I set the BeoSound Moment on the expert mode and I have a seperate BEOARTISTS directory for the photos and the photos have the exact artist name as shown on the BeoSound Moment. But after a rebuild of the collection still the BeoSound Moment won't display my own artisttiles. I have already informed B&O about this problem and I hoped that the problem was solved with this sw-version.
Is there anyone else who has also this problem? Or can anyone help me to solve this problem?
@mbolo01:
Thanks for your reaction. Please let me know your experience with the latest sw-version and the managed artist covers.
Today I've send B&O another mail about the missing managed artist cover. So i'm waiting for a reaction from them.
Maybe I also need to request a roll back to the 2.2..22313 version
Regards,
Lobster
Lobster:Please let me know your experience with the latest sw-version
After adding some tracks to my collection as well as a new artist image, I triggered a content scan and I have no issue to report: Twonky CPU is not impacted, Moment steamed DLNA/Deezer music flawlessly while harvesting, new tracks have been properly added to the collection, the existing self-managed artists images are still present and the new one has been added. Looks good so far .... on this side.
Some of the issues I discovered (maybe present since a while) on top of the forever present ones:
Double tap on a DLNA artist tile produces nothing but a flashing tile, no music
Double tap on a Deezer artist tile starts music, but not always from the artist itself
EDIT: After a SH power off/on the above is working again (I think SH power off/on is a must after each software upgrade)
Hi Mbolo01,
Thanks for your reply. I have tried several things to get my selfmanaged artist tiles back to work. But with even a factoryreset and formatting of the harddisks from my Qnap NAS, it still doesn't show the managed artisttiles.
I don't know what is going wrong with it. And I hope that I will receive a reaction on my e-mail from B&O beta team soon.
Thanks and have a nice evening!

About the last week’s non-beta sw update: did anyone involved in the beta program perhaps get notes what exactly is this release supposed to fix?
No, don't recall getting anything and was wondering myself since I've getting used to get the updates of what the changes done.
shazbat: In my opinion, the Moment is now a stable and worthy product to carry the B & O brand... Such a shame that they've decided to discontinue it.
I wish that were true for the release (non-beta) firmware. My Jukebox wont display never turns off and harvesting is permanently stuck as "1%".
donderbeestje:I have a theory that someone in Danmark does a reset or update for Deezer updates to the Moment after the weekends
donderbeestje:Could also be cleaning up weekends-data or whatever. Just want a confirmation from b&o...
Have you contacted B&O support?
I´m quite sure that Moment is just reflecting what is happening over the Deezer API, so the glitches you refer to has to be on Deezer side.

Have you tried to log out from Deezer and login again?
I think that has to do with that there are artists in the playlists
Hi,
A new official firmware release is available for download (release 2.2.2.3900), but during the upgrade process, I get a screen with a /!\ symbol.
After 2 minutes, the Moment start again with no firmware update.
Did someone success with upgrading to this release?
PS : I have tried 3 times and still the same problem.
Thank you.

I had the same issue. I had to send it out for repair. It was under warranty and no charge.
Thanks for your answers. I will contact Beocare.
