Hi,
Today i recieved a Beogram/acoustical 3000, not everything is working wel so i like to give it a restauration
but i can`t find anything on the internet like service or user manual.
I have never had any turntable from this brand and dont know how its build up or working.
Is there maybe someone here who can give me some useful information for the restauration/repair.
Lee
The unit is based round the Acoustical 3100 motor unit and uses a 9" B&O ST/L arm. Simple device - I have one which is on permanent loan elsewhere. The service manual is actually on site but you need to be a silver or gold member to access it. Being completely frank, not sure you will get a lot from it! The curator of the B&O museum gave me a copy of the manual - 15 pages but mainly parts list. It was the unit sold with the Beolab 5000 system in the UK and probably Holland. The rest of the world got the Thorens TD124 MkII motor unit, which actually shares the same actual motor!
It is a manual deck - the speed can be fine tuned and there is a strobe at the front. Is it working? Quite rare, I have only seen two, including mine!

This is the wiring diagram!
Peter thank you for the information
I started with the restauration and the first problem i see is the finetuning resitor it is complete broke, i find an other one but i dont know if 4 watt is enough , a 10 watt is very expansive maybey there is another solution ?
The rubbers from the motor suspension are also broken , now the motor is hanging to low so i can chance the speed from 45 to 33.
Also the platter string must be replaced, can you tell me hou i can remove the platter ?
So...these are al lot of questions but i hope i get some answers here
Now the problem with the fine tunnig resistor is solved, i found an other one and its working perfect
The next problem is switching between 33 and 45 rpm, a can`t find out how it works, i think maybe some parts are missing but i hope i been wrong.
I take some photo`s to make it cleare
A service manual for this model was indeed available.Look around.
