As someone who has read the various BV14 threads with interest I'm about to take delivery of a BV14-55 to replace my first gen BV10-46. The BV10 in turn replaces an early gen BV5 in another room.
Does any one have any experience connecting the Panasonic UB900 4K Blu Ray player to a BV14 ? I'd be interested in any settings you may think appropriate. The only custom setting I have read about is to perhaps switch of the HDR colour processing but even then most reviews say the conversion to Standard colour is done very well by the player.
The initial installation will be with a Sky +HD setup but as soon as the new BV has settled in Sky Q will be ordered, so any hints or tips for SkyQ would be much appreciated.
Best Wishes

Thanks, I hope your SkyQ goes well. I know the Panasonic comes with an HDMI 2.0 cable and I would hope the main SkyQ silver box comes with one as well but I shall certainly check.
Thanks for the info. I'm looking forward to seeing the 4K programs from the SKyQ Silver box. I'll let you know what I think.
sky Q looks very good on the Avant and is connected to the 4k port in order to watch ultra hd sport and movies
how would you connect the panasonic 4k blu ray player ?
Just one connection with sound and vision via the HDMI cable supplied with the player. The BV14 has 4 suitable HDMI connections. I'll report further when it's all been installed.
