Doesn't state in my BeoSound 35 manual, and I did a search and couldn't find the answer:

How many BeoRemotes can be paired with my BeoSound 35? I have a desktop wheelie on my desk but was thinking of mounting a second at the entrance near my light switch.

From the FAQ page:

How many BeoSound Essence Remotes can I pair with my BeoPlay A9 (2nd generation)/BeoSound Essence (2nd generation)/BeoSound 35?
You can pair your music system with up to five BeoSound Essence Remotes.  If you pair a 6th BeoSound Essence Remote with your music system, it will automatically delete the profile of the remote used less recently.

I have one of these, too. I cannot figure out how to set the tone for the Beale sound essence Mark one. I have a paired and the functions on the face of it worked fine. Does anyone have any insight into how to set the tone? The Beo set up app doesn't seem to have a choice for it.

At least for Mark II

From BeoMusic app

Bottom of source list

Select Product Settings

...

((Takes you to the BeoSetup app screen for Essence))

Select Sound

Select Sound Controls

Select what you want from this screen

((I hope this works for Mark I))

BeoNut since '75

Thanks. It apparently only works for the Mark Two and I have a mark one. I think the newer products, like the a6, now allow that.    My new A6 does, I wonder if there's some kind of software update.   Probably not, in that I imagine the Mark one is no longer supported.

The MK1 has a different hardware than the MK2.

You can't solve this with a sw-update.
