Hello

I''ve inherited a part of the wonderful B&O system from my grandmother. Another family member now has the television and I have got the Beo Sound Ouverture: Beo Sound 2500.

The problem is, I have connected all the cables, presumably right, but I don't get any sound out of the boxes.
I am using her B&O Boxes Beovox (6Ohm, 100(115)Watt), Type 6343, Nr 11114878. I have connected them to the ML/MCL Converter. And then the ML/MCL Converter with the Powerlink Cable (8 pins) to the Beo Sound.

I have testes the boxes on an old radio. They are both functioning.

Both devices (ML/MCL Converter & Beo Sound 2500 are on power

I have connected the Masterlink as well, although this one is not complete, it misses one of the two connections (cut off by the familymember during the quick removal) .

Could this be the problem? Although I assume the Powerlink cable would be enough?

Any solutions?

Thank you so much in advance

Best Wishes

Anne

Remove the MasterLink cable from both sides, give the BeoSound and the ML/MCL converter a mains reset and try again. The ML cable should not be connected in this setup.
