Hi All

I am looking for the Beolink 7000 remote with table stand/charger.

Does anybody have one for sale?

Hi Kiran, I have two for sale! Both have been FULLY refurbished and technically are as good as you will find. The refurb on both includes new NiCd batteries and backup batteries supplied by Beovienna, new backlights and drive belts (for tilting function) and every single electrolytic cap replaced! There is nothing more you can do to them! One of them has a tiny chip to the top right corner of the glass panel, two dead pixels in the red dot matrix display and the top corners have been knocked off the base unit as you can see in the photos, the other is near perfect apart from a slight discolouration to the black finish on the inside of the glass panel near the top in the middle which I have tried to photograph. They also have a few very slight marks on the aluminium panels but nothing particularly noticeable (the one with the chip to the glass has a few more marks on the aluminium than the other). They are both RDS versions (only relevant if you are using them with the Beomaster 7000 or the Beocenter 2500 if fitted with the optional RDS decoder) and both work perfectly. I'm looking for £250 for the one with the chip in the glass panel and £300 for the other one. PM me if you are interested. I'm not quite sure how you add more than one picture to a post but if you give me your email address I can send you more pictures.

Hi. I'm looking for one of these - I DO have the Beomaster 7000 - is this a problem?

The Beolink 7000 will work with the Beomaster 7000 - the issue will be the RDS module - the later BL7000s can identify the channel playing but the BM7000 has to be a late one to have it fitted. To be honest, the channel only appears on the blue screen, is very small and not very obvious so makes no difference in most use. The rest of the remote will be just the same.

The only problem with the BL7000, which was the most fantastic device, is that it is ageing. Repairing them is a very skilled job and many will need repairing. I had one first with a 9500 and then with a 7000 system - used it in a link room and it gave superb control. The timer facility has never been matched and it could also control lights and set whole house settings. Even kept mine for a while once changed to the Beocenter 2 - got DAB but apart from that, a retrograde step - the Beomaster 7000 set up sounded better.
