Last night, there was a fire at the Cincinnati B&O store. Over $200,000 in damage. The photo of the Avant and BeoLab 5 incinerated makes me cringe!

That Beolab 5 and Avant seems to be very well engineered! They are the items standing out of the ashes and are still recognisable :-)
Wow! Hope no one was hurt. Things can be replaced. A shame nonetheless.

The news report stated: "One civilian suffered minor burns to their hands in the fire, fire officials said."
I know the store was a very beautiful space and the owner, Per, is a great guy. I hope to find occasions to make some purchases from him to support his business.
I just received an invitation for a "grand re-opening" of the Cincinnati store since the horrible fire. They are opening in a temporary location. The invitation offers: "Enjoy great conversation, music, and art together with complimentary drinks, light refreshments and live music in a magnificent setting in the heart Downtown Cincinnati." This is pure B&O class. Glad so see Per bouncing back!
