Blu ray updates firmware etc

Being new to the bv7 world, with all its fancy built in blu ray player.

I have now discovered that it's not good quality play back on some discs!

Is this a disc update you just play in the br player or do I connect my bv7 to the net via Ethernet cable ( does the bv7 just update automatically )

Or is it an engineer visit?......not fussy which, just glad the player ain't broken.

Connect the BV7 via Ethernet and perform a Firmware update

This works for park of the BV7 drive software

The back end has to be updated by a dealer.
