Hi I've just setup the above in may own way - all components seem to be working OK bar:

1) No digital display on the Pentas - should they have one?

2) the cable, photos attached is spare  and I don't know which socket I should put it - no tittering. Can't attach photos. One end has the number 6270353, the other end  has a white mark. Smile

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi DeaconBlue2016,

Yes, all Pentas with 8 pin Powerlink sockets (ie. Beolab Penta mk.2 and mk.3 models) should have displays fitted.  Your cable sounds like a thin version without the data wires to activate the displays, you need the thicker fully wired mk.2 Powerlink cables to get the displays working (these are approx. 4.5mm thick, as shown here):-

http://soundsheavenly.com/powerlink-8-pin-din-connection/23-powerlink-mk-2-compatible-black-8-pin-din-cable-with-fully-wired-8-cores.html

You can connect the speakers to either of the 8 pin Powerlink sockets on the Beomaster and to either of the 8 pin Powerlink sockets under each speaker.  You can either link both speakers directly back to the Beomaster, or "daisy-chain" one speaker from the spare socket on the first speaker.

Kind regards, Steve.

Steve.
