Hi,

I have an issue with the screen of the ConfigTool when I try to set the source logical connections when using a V1 TV.

Only half of the windows opens and I have no access to all the parameters. See picture attached. I tried to change the screen resolution or to move the windows around but didn't help. The windows cannot be enlarged either. I'm stuck!

Anyone an idea how to make this work? Thanks.

You will need to change the resolution of your PC screen.

1920 x 1080 is B&O's default size on a PC and it was not designed to run on a V1 TV

The issue appears with any PC monitor resolution, including 1920x1080. I'm not using the V1 TV with the ConfigTool, just trying to program the remote to use a V1.

Depending on your screen size you may well need to reduce the screen resolution down from 1920 x 1080

That's what I did, but it did not help to solve the problem. However, I did not try all the possible resolutions.

Is there an optimal resolution to use the ConfigTool?

Whilst on the subject Keith, should the Config Tool work on Windows 10?  Mine doesn't!

Whilst I have not tried it on Windows 10, it should work PROVIDED you load the USB driver manually as you have to do with Windows 8 & 8.1

See my post on the subject HERE

With regards to the screen resolution 1920 x 1080 works perfectly which I have set on my PC. Are you sure you are changing the resolution?

Thanks Keith, but I have to admit I have confused myself.  I don't use the Config tool as I don't have a Beo5/6!!  I meant to ask if the Product Configuration Guide will work on Windows 10????

Sorry for confusion (and erroneously hijacking thread!)

That's the resolution I use. The Config Tool works fine on every aspects, except this particular window, which is half cut. Have you tried to change the source of a V1 for example? The window is fine when changing sources of BV TVs.

It is difficult to understand why it only happens on just one window of the configuration tool.

I tried to re-create your problem, but was unable to do so. Below is the window when I add a V1 and Beosound 5 and open the source window.

Perhaps I should uninstall/reinstall the software, but then I will loose all my configs. Right?

You will NOT loose your configurations. You configurations are in a file with the Beo5/6 serial number as below:-.

Installed the Configuration Tool on a different computer, but had the same problem with the screen. Realized that I used v6.62. Installed v6.84 and the problem was solved. Nevertheless, there seems to be a bug: after a V1 configuration upload, I go to Choose Products, right-click on an apparatus in the Select Zone part, then select Set Source Logical Connections, no windows opens. To circumwent the issue, I first had to remove an apparatus, go to Edit tab, then go back to Choose Products, and do the right-click on an apparatus and select Set Source... then the windows opens.

Very simple...
