I have just bought an original B&O MX 6000 TV mounted on the motor stand 4107. I can turn the tv manually to the far left or right position. when i turn it on the motor turns the tv to the perfect center no matter if it was in the left or right position. this works fine. but when i turn it off nothing happens but a tiny turn movement. Does it mean the motor is broken or just wrongly configured? Does anyone know how to configure the motor stand?
Hi and welcome to Beoworld.
In the SETUP menu there is s STAND option where you can preset the position that you wish the stand to turn to when you turn it on.
Hi when I go to SETUP I dont see any STAND option. All I see is the following:
TIMER SOUND: OFF
POWER LINK: OFF
AV 1: V.TAPE-1
AV 2: V.TAPE-2
S-VHS: OFF
Accept: press PLAY
Must be an older MX - the following refers to an MX5000 but it may be of use:
Thank you. Yes this works fine. I can turn the tv to left and right with the remote control. But I would like the TV to turn to full right position when I turn it off do you know how to achieve this?
I don't think it's possible to do that - the older stands simply turned to their neutral (straight ahead) position when turned off. On newer models (my BV6 for example) you can also set the neutral position in the menu.
Maybe just orientate the stand so that the neutral position is to the right! I doubt the aesthetics work though!
