Hi everyone

Please could someone tell me the best way to watch Amazon Prime TV on a BV11. I currently have an Apple TV connected to the BV11 but unfortunately the ATV doesn't have an Amazon app. I assume I need to purchase a Firestick from Amazon and plug it into the BV11 or is there a better way of doing this? We use the Apple TV for Netflix, NowTV and Itunes (renting movies) but desperate for more content - hence Amazon TV. I already am a Amazon Prime customer.

Thank you

Why not just use the Amazon app on an iPhone and then Airplay to the ATV?

I'm using the Amazon Fire TV to watch Amazon Prime on my BV11. The Amazon TV in combination with a FLIRC IR dongle and the PUC-cable allows the use of the B&O remotes. Amazon Fire (TV and TV stick) does not have a IR receiver, hence the FLIRC. The Amazon Fire TV stick does not have an USB port, the Amazon TV does.

Thanks for the replies. I didn't think about Airplay. Would this be of equal quality to an Amazon TV box or Firestick? I'm not very tech myself and wanted to avoid having to call out the dealer to set it all up for me.

Separate question - I listen to the BV11 through a pair of Beolab 9's. I want to hear the BL9's at their best. Would signing up to Deezer or Spotify (I have both these apps on my BV11) be the best way of listening to music through the speakers?

i did AirPlay without any problems for at least two years. the amazon app needs HTTP proxy switched to OFF in the WiFi settings of the iPad. the only reason i switched to FireTV was my new 4K Avant. good luck!

This is what I do when I want to watch the Grand Tour. Works a treat. Never had any issues, so far!

Can you please explain a little more....

I have a Beosystem 4 and an Amazon Fire TV plus FLIRC. As PUC I chose Amazon Fire TV (via IR receiver). But it does not work.

How do I need to program the FLIRC dongle (if at all) and where do I need to attach the PUC cable on the little dongle?

Thanks in advance.
