My wife and I wandered into B&O of Winchester on Saturday to collect the Powerlink and Masterlink leads I had ordered.

Unfortunately, something very odd happened whilst we were inside and now we appear to be the proud owners of a 'second-life' Beovision 7-40 with Beolab 7.4.

How the heck did that happen?!

Yeah.. Sometimes strange things happen when an alternate  timeline passes through the current timeline..  Do a Google on "String theory"... Anyway... strange stuff happens... Unfortunately everything ends 21/12/2012...

It may have been, something as simple as a good sellerBig Smile

Collecting Vintage B&O is not a hobby, its a lifestyle.

That reminds me of the time I went into Bang and Olufsen of Cheltenham only to take a look at Century (shows how long ago this was). But I came out with that Century, some alternate frets, a Bang and Olufsen Watch and a Beolink 7000. I had to return a week later to pick up the VX7000. Since that time I am no longer allowed to go within 100m of a B&O store on my own.

Perhaps you needed a Beovision 7-40 & Beolab 7.4 to connect the powerlink & masterlink leads you had ordered - after all, the leads on their own are not very useful Big Smile

Perhaps the Beovision 7-40 & Beolab 7.4 are B&O approved accessories for the Masterlink & Powerlink leads......Smile

You are not alone ...

5:30 pm in a B&O store in Germany:

I entered the shop for a software upgrade of my BeoCom 5...

7:45 pm in my livingroom (the same day):

A Beovision 8-40 is installed, the first TV in my life.
