I have just borrowed a Moment from my dealer, just to see if it is matured enough for me to buy one.
My network is 100% WiFi, a standard Netgear router from YouSee(Danish cable tv) running both 2.4 and 5 GHz network. My line is a 90/10 mbit
A Samsung TV and a lot of iDevices using 2.4 and 5GHz network criss-cross.
The Moment is running the latest Beta FW, and is connected to a pair of Beolab Penta MK3's
For now(until I get a modified Connection Hub) the Samsung TV is connected to the Line-in on the Moment, via an Optical->Analog converter.
The Moment connected to my 2.4 GHz network(password protected, with static channel) without problems. Took 5 seconds, and there has been no dropouts of any kind.
The speakers are setup as Beolab Penta and connected via RJ45->Powerlink adapter.
I have experienced zero of the connection problems people has talked about, the connection between jukebox and heart is perfect throughout my whole apartment (100m2).
I have played a bit with the moodwheel and Deezer, I have no local storage for now. I think it is a great system. The only thing for now, is the search which could be better. I miss a way to "search and browse" without changing the currently playing song.
When using the moodwheel, and selecting a mood from the middle of inner circle, and swiping left or right to hear a new song, why does the white selection circle move to the outer circle briefly, and then back to where I put it ? but it leaves a greyed out smaller circle behind in the outer ring ?
One thing I find difficult, is the swipe right gesture on the screen when I need to "go back" from an album I am browsing, I need to use my right hand to swipe the album right, it is very hard to do with the left thumb, which I have free while holding the jukebox with 2 hands.
All this are small issues, and just something to get used to, but all in all, it works perfect.
There is a small sound delay when using line-in from the TV, but this should be gone when I connect the TV to the Hub instead.
One funny thing about my Penta's. The display actually is being fed some kind of data. The display always is on "A.ATP2 -- xx" where xx is the correct volume. When using a Beo4 to turn volume up or down, or changing track, the display writes "LOAD TAPE". Also, the display never turns off, even though the speaker shuts down :)
Oh well, moved the display switch to VIDEO, and it is now always off.
All in all, I am positive about it, but need to see how the Connection Hub plays along before pulling the trigger. The sound delay is still to much for me to accept.
Oh, and the sound is really really great on the Penta's. Maybe its placebo, but it sound much better that the BC2 it was connected to before.
This is really a good and positive review, very much needed by the Moment.
Enjoy the machine very much as I do...

Well, you should be able to do that. You can "drill down" from artist tile, down to album and down to song while still playing the current song.
Or do I misunderstand you?
When you do a search and click on an album that the search give, it starts to play that album, that is correct. But you have different views of that search as well to explore the searchresult.

As I said, maybe I just need to learn the search function, I have only had it for 48 hours, so I am just learning.
All in all, I think it is great :)

Hmm, just tried to do a search for "Petra Marklund", on Deezer it finds 2 artists, 12 albums and 99+ songs.
No matter which tab I select, and click on an album, it just starts playing that album. I cannot drill down and see which songs are on the albums ?

Weebyx:I cannot drill down and see which songs are on the albums ?
When you choose the "songs" tab you see all the tracks of the artist albums, isn't it what you are looking for?
They are not grouped, nor sorted, by album, but they have the album cover image + the album name to help you identify where they come from.

Aussie Michael:What hub are you connecting the Tv to?
It will be connected to a B&O Connection Hub.. But waiting for it to be modified at B&O.
The idea is to connect the Moment to the Hub also via the line-in. That is what B&O recommends, and for this to work, it needs to be modified so it can be used with other beolab speakers than S8 ?
Sounds a bit weird, but it is apparently needed..

As i mentioned in the Beta Thread, the trouble is if you don't know the artist exactly and you have to search in the tab "songs", 99+ songs are a little bit of a hassle for browsing. My expectation was the same as from Weebyx and I think many users will stumble about it. Drill down is simply more intuitive for me. But you get used to it....
