Hi

Please can someone advise what the operating voltage is for the grain of wheat bulbs in the speed indicator assembly. The manual is not clear (to me) and I can't find the answer, just lots of conversions to LED which I don't want to do.

Thank you

Hi,

From what I can see:

On the AC motor version there is 22.8V across the lamp and for the DC motor version it's 21V.

The service manual for the Type 5501/5502 AC Motor 4002 calls up the lamp as #61 with part number 8230052 and a description of just  Lamp.

The service manual for the Type 5514/5515 DC Motor 4002 uses the same part number 8230052 but with a description of Lamp 24V 40 ma.

Hope that helps.

Regards

Lonnie

If you need a new lamp and want one that is like the original then contact Dillen (moderator on this forum). I have bought replacements from him before and you can be assured they meet the original requirements.
