Can anybody help me figure out why one of the lights on my Beolab 5 is not working? The left speaker channel is dead....is this jus a lose wire connection or is it likely to be something more complex?
Regards
An internal fault is usually indicated by a flashing red light. But not exclusively.
power down for 10 minutes
Swap cables over to exclude channel/cable issues.
if the matter persists, it's something more complex.
Hi Friend
I dont have a blinking red light but one of my speakers shows no light at all while the other shows a green light. Any help will me most apprecated
Perhaps it just didn't receive the power on command.
Are you using a sync cable or are they connected via powerlink to another B&O device?

No light = no power or internal fault.
Swap power cables to check if it not a fuse (assuming UK type). If you have no fuse in the power cord then it is a call to your service agent I'm afraid.
Could be an internal fuse has popped 5A or 10A on the main board chassis if you are lucky.
Could be the main board if you are not.
Could be another less serious fault that shuts everything down
I would advise you get a competent B&O service agent rated to do repairs on the BL5 to have a look. Its a very complicated loudspeaker and as indicated above...it could be something trivial, could be a major component. Unfortunately, exotica costs!
