Essence remote and BV14

Does anyone know if it's possible to pair an Essence Remote to a BV14?

Yes you can but with limited functionality currently

Serious? Please describe "limited functionality"

I contacted BeoCare and they replied that they are not compatible... and that to wait for the next firmware update of the BV14 and the release of the new Remote app.

Would love to have the Essence remote on my desk controlling the volume of my BV14

Me too. Ideally it should work as it does with the Essence!

If I recall correctly currently you can turn on the TV and control volume, but that's about it. Currently the functionality isn't there for practical use, but it will technically connect and work a few functions.

Ah, you know... A little B&O here, a little there

Volume is more then enough for me! If more functions work.. that's fine.. but volume is the main reason why I would add an Essence remote. Turning it off would be fine too... But most of all just volume.
