My mother in law will get her Avant 32 VHS exchanged with a BV7-32 MK3 in the next few weeks. The Avant then becomes obsolete.
The Avant is fully functional, but I don't have adequate space to set it up.
What should I do with it ? Throw it in the garbage or use it or the internals for a project ?
I have no idea, but maybe you ...

You could use the speakers for an audio project of your choice or you can throw out the old tube and put a bigger LCD-TV in. There was an absolute amazing project in our archived forum where somebody put a Pioneer Plasma (as far as I remember) on the Avant chassis and it looked great like it was designed by B&O this way.Or you just keep the lower part, remove the tube and have a nice small rack with motor stand and speakers for a small TV, audio system or other things.
Thanks TWG, are the speakers the same as those in the BL2500 ?
EDIT: Ok, found the answer myself. The speakers are the same.
Found the thread in the archived forum, but all the pictures are missing
Oh, too bad. Maybe Lee or one of our moderators have a backup laying around with pictures!?
What's that thread? Did you get the pictures from the archived thread? Seems a very good idea :)
