Beogram 1500 series 1

hi I've inherited a beogram 1500 series 1 and everything seems to work fine except the sound comes out very low even when Turned right the way up and if you touch any of the metal switches it buzzes like mad any ideas would be gratefully received

the amp inside it is very low power, so if you have inefficient speaker that could be the cause

Thanks for reply, the speakers are the b & o speakers that came with th the unit

Sounds like either a bad pickup cartridge, bad RIAA, bad power supply or a grounding issue.
Perhaps a combination.
I would check the power supply first.
