Hi,

my second hand MLGW just arrive by postal service.

My house automation is based on Conson Concept 2000 (notXP)

Does anyone have an experience on connecting the Conson Concept 2000 to the MLGW.

Thanks

gerard

Hello Gerard,

if your system supports control over http commands you can control it with you MLGW. Otherwise you'll need a driver and if that's not available you have no control. Or there's a bridge that can control both worlds (e.g. form RTI, Crestron, or s.th.  KNX compatible)

Conson is in the list of compatible products for the MLGW (conson is a danish product). Since 1999 I control my light and blinds with my beolink1000 through a conson IR modul.

Unfortunately conson upgraded their product line from concept 2000 to conceptXP.

I know that before XP there was a possibility to connect the MLGW to the concept2000 with a special modul, something like a com1 port.

In MLGW manual they list the XP-series.

I have contacted conson through their contact form on their web-site, but I did not get any feedback, neither on their german webpage nor on the english one.

I hope that there is a beoworlder who uses the condon concept 2000 and has a MLGW hooked up to it.
