Prices are on the way up, for US 800.00, I can buy a cheap ticket to DK, Stay 1 week with my sister for free, buy a pair of C40 for less than US 50.00. I hope the seller will sell. That will increase the price of My Beo inventory Big Smile, And Martin and Leslie can sell out, buy an island in the sun and retire.

Beovox C40

gosh I need to get hard talk with you - can you teach me ? I know how to say NO, just still believe in honesty and all that rubbish (usually don't take labour in expense at all - being "hobby" and all that)

What really gets me is that some people sell B&O on eBay (don't get 1000's as they would like to) hence don't care about shipping it properly at all - I couldn't get the message across to seller whom sent me BeoVox 3702 worse than potatoes (because he charged me only 12 pounds in P&P he reckon nothing was wrong) - I said I would happily paid real price for P&P to get the 40y +speakers in usable condition (wanted to put it where it belongs - beside my centre piece BC3500 ;)

Got to buy other pair (damaged even worse) so with bit of luck and lots of repairing and such I may rescue 1 pair to hopefully live another 40y

I dont do B&O professionally, I do printing machines, and 75 USD is my lowest price, consulting and specialties can run in to some severe money.

If you count the overhead a company has to count, 75 USD is just above breaking even, for the money you have to pay today for a good technician.

Yeah I appreciate that Soren, I used to work for electrical company in Chicago and call out charge was $60 alone - what I didn't liked about it was selling stuff to customers from so called black book, although I meant to copy the part "doing it for love not the money" though, but that was just B&O stuff not professional life ;)

My bad - didn't noticed your reply and question Soren - they are 3 systems (don't be like QDA experts ;) and I'm only interested in them as they complete my Beocenter 3500 (same period and veneer) and sound great as well Whistle

Hi there,

Thanks - I realize that, they sure are match to extent Geeked (in the late stages of production 1976-1977 they was to my knowledge offered together - I've got these from 1owner from new, an ex opera singer and purchased with BC3500),

but S45's were not available in 1972 when my BC was born Wink... I'm very happy with those 2 pairs I own, don't take me wrong....

but they're no match to 3702's on many levels (to bad there seem be no specification to be find) Sad and determined to re-unite them in the future
