Am I looking at the wrong link here?  It's a plain box covered in fabric, with two knobs on?

If B&O released something like that, they'd be accused of 'Gross Negligence' and 'Olympic Standard Laziness' !!!

Maybe I'm missing something.....

Correct. You are forgetting the fanboy equation.

Any other products we should add to the list? Perhaps the moment / iPad with iPod wheel on it?

The A1 that looks like every other Bluetooth speaker?

The H5 headphones with the magnetic clip that everyone else thought of first?

Just because that speaker is simple doesn't mean it's not beautiful.

Now i wonder if the graphic on the right of the invite is a wall mounted speaker

It looks like a high end lamp and i wonder if that would work for a wall mounted rear speaker

Great advertising, 'just' two knobs are greater than any interface B&O has to offer on any BeoPlay products (even Beosounds, is this not B&O fame-game?), they look great for target audience (boxy.. yes), standard multi-room functionality, sound quite neat (use same platform as multiroom beosound or beoplay products), are wildly available anywhere, price, power cords match, app is outstanding..

Even at a higher price-point B&O does not touch this in any way. Love me a BS2, BS1, A9, A6 but app is lacking (new app needs login? 🤦🏼‍♂️) Ever used BeoSetup app? (Ridiculous)

They need to work on there BeoPlay (sound-systems) portfolio. B&O CAN forge these highlights in there own unique way with their great audio signature, i'm waiting.

Something B&O should look at : https://www.urbanears.com/ue_us_en/baggen (design is quite nice and function wise, yes!)

Nothing that I would expect from B&O - and nothing that I would buy into.

However, maybe they should consider something like that source knob for future 'grandma's edition' products ;-)

As for the primitive, dull cubic form - might be nice for placing the picture frames with the latest pics of the grandchildren, but as an 'object' to look at everyday, well ;-(

I am sure the designers working for B&O would get more inspired by the diversity seen here:

I have just seen the mail with Beolab 5 Final Edition - I Guess this means that Beolab 5 is approaching the final?? And then I guess the gap between Beolab 20 and Beolab 90 is to big to be left hanging?

A range of cubes for the average bachelor's home, modelled on Struer's famous testing chamber, would be great.

😆

I just want point out, now the BeoSound Shape has been announced, that my idea was remarkably close to its reality 😆
