Even after the sale of the production facelities in Koprivnice to the long time partner Tymphany, the production/assemply of a lot of the core Bang & Olufsen products stays in the Czech Republic.

Thank you for the information!

The experience is earned by the original danish companies Peerless and Vifa.

Funny that they claim 85 years of experience for Tymphany. The company was founded in 2004 and is operating as a subsidiary of Primax Electronics which was founded in 1989 (both chinese) since 2014.

But that's chinese... they don't lie to you, they just tell you a well designed version of the truth to you. Wink

Generelly it is a very bad development seeing all great companies being bought by asian companies just in the name of profit and short time thinking... in the future nobody needs europe and we will be fully dependant on those mega companies. Not very intelligent chess moves on the european side. The chinese thinking is clearly ahead of ours as they plan long-term.

Giving up manufacturing your own products isn't a good message. Next up is usually sourcing products from 3rd parties and branding as your own, finally followed by merely licensing the brand for use by 3rd parties on their own product!

It would be interesting to know where some of the beoplay products sit.

Ban boring signatures!
