Hi,
Currently my setup is like this :
BL9 conected to BV1 > than ML to coverter 1611 > than from 1611 ( aux link ) to aux link on BS2300
BV 1 is set to option 2BS 2300 set to option 0
TV is working fine, responding to all comands from Beo4. But BS 2300 is not responding at all, CD and radio not working.
Any idea ?
Thanks :)
Carolpa:Connect a PL cable between the t1611and the BV1
Thanks Carol :)
Thing is that my speakers are connected to TV, so I do not have spare PL ...
As far as I remember all "later" BV1s had ML-sockets, but not all of them had facctory fitted ML-modules.
The 4 digit type number would help to find out the type of your BV1 ...
I had ML modul for sure. This setup worked fine in the past.
One strange problem I experience now is when I connect 1611 PowerLink to PowerLink on Bs2300, it turns TV radio on and change radio stations randomly. When is 1611 is connected to 2300 on Aux Link it not respond ...
Powerlink cable should be connected to your BC2300 and the BL converter 1611.
Audio Aux Link cable should be connected to BC2300 and the converter. Must be a fully wired Aux cable.
Set your BV1 to V.OPT 2 and your BC2300 to A.OPT 0. Be sure that the devices have detected the option programming - the stdby lights will flash.
Beolabs are connected to the Beovision.
Now the whole system should turn on in audiomode, if you select an audio source like RADIO, CD...
BV1 and Beolabs should turn on, if you select a video source like TV, DVD...If your BC2300 had been activated, it should turn off.
Hope this helps.
Stefan

This I don't understand. I have Audio AUX cable connected from 1611 to bs2300. You are suggesting that both PowerLink and AudioLink cable should be connected from BS2300 to 1611 ?
Right. That`s the way my BS7000 was connected to my BV7-40 - and it worked...

sorry, my mistake! the datalink and powerlink have to be connected to the BC2300
stefan: Right. That`s the way my BS7000 was connected to my BV7-40 - and it worked... Stefan
Interesting. My system worked like a charm before and it was connected only with data link.I will try to connect PL as well, and see what will happen.
Yes - interesting. Your first post said your setup doesn`t work properly in audio mode....(?)
BTW I think it should work with just the Audio Aux Link cable connected. The "special" Powerlink solution is meant for the BM7000 as described. It uses just one pin in the PL cable: Pin 4 for telling the converter whether the Beosystem is turned on or not.
...Option settings checked?...
Hi Stefan,
Yes, audio is not responding, CD or radio on 2300
Option is checked, TV is OPT 2 and BS2300 is OPT 0
Sometimes unplugging ALL units from the mains for some minutes helps ...
I'm close to the conclusion that 1611 dont work properly.
See page 3 of the manual and diagram 1 op page 4 of the manual of the converter!
BV1 to T1611 = ML cable
T1611 to BC2300 = AAL & PL cable because there are no speakers connected to the BC2300
Remove the mains of the T1611 before making all the connections! After all connections are made reconnect the mains.
