Will Bang and Olufsen be manufacturing products in their own factory or is it all manufactured by someone else.

Will the label on the box be "Designed in Denmark" but made in the EU and elsewhere?

Since they have 'no own' factory, they won't.

As for what will be on the labels, I guess we will have to wait to see.

Its little souless but giving how Apple is mastering this setup I guess it might be promising way to go.

I do not know of many similar companies to the old B&O, swiss watch companies yes but there you have different marketforces.

German Leica is all that comes to mind but not much else but they are small and am. Ot sure how much potential there is for growth.

It might be a wise move.

It is like having a big house to live in, that you at times can't fill - but you have to heat it, renew and see to all things. (This factory is not new anymore).

Better sell the house to someone, who can use the spare capacity and who is in charge of (and pays for) the renewing, new investments etc.......and still live there.

In most of the comments, that I read here, I sense a deep disbelief, that B&O can be able to find the right partner/s, can set the standarts for the production, negociate the terms for it and see to that everything is done right qualitywise.

Many beoworlders simply don't trust in the capability of B&O to make good products anymore at a price, that is right for todays A/V market - kind of sad.

Czech is better than China

If it's made I b&o standards

It's just a sign of the world

China middle class will rise then it will be expensive. Then it will move to Mexico then then their middle class with rise (ie the west gives them the money) then it will move to Africa , then their middle class will rise.

Then it will move back home.
