Hi guys
Triggered by a question here: http://archivedforum2.beoworld.org/forums/p/24944/199330.aspx#199330
What would like us to move from the BeoSetup to the X app first? So far our top 3 (in non prioritized order) list include:
Others? What do you use the most?
Thomas, Bang & Olufsen
Sound settings..
If those 4 settings are native in X, then I would be happy :)
/Weebyx
Oh, and timers(if not grouped with alarms) :)
timer/alarm and sound settings (in that order)
Hi,
I know it's not the most appropiate thread but I want to (re)announce you that beomusic is not working w Essence mk1, which is not (stiil) supported by X app.
That leaves us (the owners of Essence MK1) with no option of control, which is very frustrating.
I hope that either the new update of X or beomusic will solve it.
Best regards!

And regarding the thread's question: timer/alarm and sound settings (as most of the BOers)
I use Beosetup for:EQ Settings (Except for the M5 where there is none?!)Source prioritySoftware updateX also misses "Shuffle", "Repeat 1" and "Repeat All"
off topic:
but I would prefer DLNA support
Support for the NL/ML converter would be nice. That's the reason I'm not using the x-app.
Great stuff. Timers, alarms and sound settings. Other items as well?
@liviu_o terribly sorry about this issue. We spend quite a bit of time looking into it but the whole app will need to be converted for us to debug it in 10.2. We have decided to move it to the X app instead. It is a pain when something like this just stops working and I know it has been a while. We're on it and i hope to have it out soon
DLNA and BLC is also coming. We're doing small increments, not big bang releases.
@MrAndersen .. if only the software devs of the BV14/Horizon were so open about their product development... :-) :-)
Karel.
cheers
Marc
a RESET function to set everything on the device to factory settings (escpecially sound settings). A bad example are older products like Beolink passive / active: Nobody knows how to reset those things if you changed sound settings. We had one forum member asking how to reset those settings in a Beolit 15, too.
