Hi, I hope you will be able to confirm that these have compatible display thru MK2 powerlink cables on Beolab 5000 active Amps LCD displays as I have not been able to get the displays working showing the 9000 CD or display settings onto beolab 5000 Speakers. Note speakers turn on/off and work / play ok.

Are the speakers set to AUDIO ? There is a switch with VIDEO/AUDIO/OFF somewhere :)

Hi Beolab 5000 doesn't have Video / Audio switch. I have been trying to connect MK2 cables between 9000 and powerlink on beolab 5000. The switch on the beolab 5000 for powerlink only has blank (1st) position, R (Right at 2nd position) and L (left speaker at 3rd position)

The other switch is for speaker link (requires the 4pin speaker cable that can be connected to passive amp via masterlink. I haven't tried a powerlink speaker cable as I need the 4 pin connector end to do this. If speakerlink is the only way to get the beolab 5000 displays working then I will organise to get hold of these once confirmed that is what is required.

My beolab speakers are model 6705.

Hmm, I am pretty sure there is an AUDIO/VIDEO switch on the side of the amplifier, it is well hidden :)
