Hi guys!

I just bought a NL/ML (BLC) converter.
I adjusted delay in the setup so music from the NL (Deezer and TuneIn) is now in synce across to my BM7000.
The other way around there is a horrible delay (of course since there are som ADC going on)

I wonder if a solution for that could be:
I buy a NL/ML Link eye.
I set my BM7000 in A.opt 0 and the BLC in V.opt 2
I connect my Mainroom speakers to the BLC.

I have nothing on the ML system besides my BM and BG.

Wil the ML sound be synced across all speakers now because the ADC happens before the mainroom speakers which are now on the BLC instead of the BM.

WIll my BM7000 work as before, recognizing that the speakers is on the Videomaster now? LIke if i had a TV in my main room.

Hi,

Yes, I think that's actually the recommended setup when integrating heritage products.

The only limitations, as I see them, are that you won't  have tone control and you can't use BL1000/7000 or mcp.

Ok not officially supported. But have a look at Page 11 http://beointegration.com/uploaded/Idea_Catalogue_v3.2.pdf

I have seen page 11 before and that is why i bought the BLC.

I'm wondering if i can skip the IR-eye. Keep the BM and the BLC in Option 2, using the BM IR so i don't have to place a IR eye on the wall somewhere.

Tested this. No luck. Doesn't work. I have to make room for a link eye on the wall.

Maybe you can disassemble the ir-eye and wire only the ir-receiving diode and place it somewhere hidden as it's not even as big as a fingernail. The rest of the receiver electronics could be placed in a cupboard or elsewhere out of sight.
