My name is Paul Griffin. I have a documentary film idea that I have in development and i'm looking for information to assist my research.
My Grandfather Peter Griffin ran a shop called Griffin Radio on Bristol Street, Birmingham from 1950 to 1977, before my father Steph Griffin and Uncle Jim set up Griffin Audio Visual. My Uncle Bob also continued to run Griffin Audio a few doors down.
My Grandfather sold the BEOCORD 2000 De Luxe, one of the 1st domestic mutli-track recorders to a number of notable musicians, that enabled them to go on and secure record deals.
I'm keen to find out more about the machine and it's origin. If there's anyone out there that can assist me i'd be very grateful.
Kind regards
Paul Griffin

Here and here and I have a fully restored Beocord 2000 (not de luxe)

Collecting Vintage B&O is not a hobby, its a lifestyle.
