Charger for BeoPlay Headphones/Special Cables?

I tried doing some research to see if I could find the answer to my question, in case someone had already asked, but I couldn't come up with anything.

Anyway, I wanted to know, what kind of chargers people were using for their headphones? At the moment, I rely on an extra 5W Amazon charger that came with my Fire Stick - which is rated at the standard 5V/1amp. Without getting into too much detail, does anyone know (for sure) if it's OK (safe) to use a 2amp charger (or higher) to charge any of the BeoPlay headphones, or if a higher-amp charger would even make a difference?

I sent an enquiry to B&O, and got the response below... which didn't seem too convincing to me. I mean, "any charger"? And "as long as you use the provided cables"? Before I know it, I'll be told that generic micro-USB cables won't work since the B&O cables have special circuitry embedded within it, or are specifically made of unobtainium (is that how you spell it?). 

I don't know why they would say that about the cable. Perhaps they just want you to use a "quality" one. I usually use a 2.4 amp charger, and whatever cable I have lying around. So far, so good.

I've also noticed that not all B&O cables are equal. One will do quick charges with my phone, another will not. Don't recall which came with which product, but they are both B&O branded.

The important part of the response is the part about the headphones only drawing as much current as they can use.

As far is I remember a general rule of charging batteries is that higher amps decrease longterm mah-capacity. There is a calculator somewhere, where you can calculate the recommended charger for a curtain battery, but I can't seem to find it. However a 2amp charger should not decrease the longterm capacity by any significant amount.
