I have just bought a Beosystem 3 to replace my Beovision 5 and I'm having fun trying to set it up. I'm using it with a temporary TV. It has the DVB-T/S module and has the two DVI outputs as opposed to HDMI on the newer versions. I have an older Humax STB connected via scart, that I use for recording shows and an Amazon Firestick connected via HDMI. It has two Beolab Pentas connected and linked to a Beosound 9000 via Masterlink along with a Beolab 3500 in the same room and a couple of link rooms. The Beosystem is option 2 and the Beosound option 0.

I have a couple of questions.

1. Which IR emitters are compatible with the PUC outputs? Do they have to be B&O?

2. The Firestick has KODI installed for my music streaming. I can view the Firestick on screen and play my music through the connected Pentas. But I cannot get it to play through the link to the BL3500 or rest of the house.

However, I can distribute the DVB-T sound and the Humax sound to the BL3500 and link rooms. I use AV,  then press DTV. (Answered below)

Any suggestions?

ML can only distribute sound, which is connectet through analog-in.

With the Firestick you would have to use a HDMI Audio Extractor in order to have an analog output to feed into an analog input on the BSys3.

There is a tv - and there is a BV

Aaah.... Thanks Millemissen, I thought it might be something simple such as that. I'll dig out my trusty old Raspberry Pi which I used to run KODI on. I can connect that to one of the analogue inputs.
