Soundsmith obviously are already doing this and they are very good. Not cheap but modern cartridges are not!

I have a MMC cartridge manufactured by Soundsmith that I purchased about 5 years ago. It has worked perfectly. I would comment that the sound from the Soundsmith is somewhat brighter sounding than the original B&O cartridges but I like it.

I guess that ends the speculation. I am looking forward to the new Beovision and I am also hoping for new loudspeakers. Bang and Olufsen mainline products are not very exciting now. I do have some interest in the Beosound 2 but am waiting for different colors.
I would have been very astonished, if there was.

Yesterday, I spoke to a dealer who was at the conference. He said that there was no "official" announcement of a new turntable, however, it was discussed off the record that a turntable concept has indeed been in development. The new turntable has no official place in the timetable but is expected to happen.
Haha, it was a heavy few days Stuart...but enjoyable! Some photos on my Instagram if anyone interested @nickhayes62. Apparently, there has been talk of rebadging a third party turntable, but nothing more. Which I guess might make sense as the cost to start up production on turntables would be crazy expensive considering the numbers that would be sold!?
